Things Change

Chapter 3: Part of the journey

It was 5am now acording to my phone. Its now at 50%. Everyone else is asleep so I sat up and layed my back against the wall of the train car.

I pulled up my photos on my phone and scrolled through some old photos of my mom and I. I really miss her.

There is one photo of us where we were going to a concert, of some random person and some girl lost her ticket and her mom refused to buy a new because well she couldnt afford it and they had saved for months to be able to go. So my mom gave her her ticket and said we could go a diffrent day.

I was sad but i knew it was the right thing to do. After we left to get dinner and icecream. When we got to Dairy Dip we walked smack dab into the singers we wanted to watch in concert. So we got a picture with them. That was one of my favorite days.

Mostly because that was the day I learned that your the happiest when your with somone you love. My mom is my bestfriend.

I hope its true. I hope shes alive. If she is it changes everything. I miss her. I know its slefish but i wish it had not been her.

As i was deep in thougt i noticed there was a broken board that was falling off. I did not know if we were safe if it fell off. So I turned to nick and shook him. He sat up and gave me a deathly stare.

"Why would you wake me so early" he wisped and screamed.

"Im sorry its just umm, theres a board falling off and i didnt know if it was ok to remove."

"Yeah its fine it just wasnt ok back there because those guys were sent to kidnap us at whatever cost. We are safe well safer now" he said in a comforting voice.

"We are going to be staying at a camp my mom sent me and my step brother to in ninth grade for safty and a plan. This place is a little ruff but its just temporary. The reason we are going there is because we need to find my brother he is trapped there" He said and with that he woke bella.

"Bella wake up we got to go" he wispered into her ear softly. She huffed and pushed his face away so it was not as close as hers.

After Bella was woken and our bage in hand nick opened up the train cart door and the train was still moving not only that it was open feild.

"Okay in exactly 5 minuetes we need to jump." Nick said eyeing the ground.

"Nick, im no genious but those are sleeping lillys. If we jump we will be put to sleep in a matter of seconds." Bella says proud for even knowing that they were lillys let alone sleeping ones.

"You are right, thats our way in to take a nice nap." As nick says that he jumps.

I look to bella and she looks to me. Then we grab each others hands and jump.

Then it want black. I remember hearing muffles of sounds and and passcode beebing noise and then a door. Then nothing.

I woke up about 6 hours later to an alarm. I opened my eyes to see a room setup almost like a jail cell, infact just like one. With a sink, a toilet, a table, chair, and bed.  Except intead of bar doors theres a metal door it was open though.

I did not know if open door meant walk outside or what untill i heard forks clinging. So i got up and walked outside and down the hall into a messhall area. Where everyone sat down and talked in a nice order. It was kinda weird it was mostly boys who were here.

I went to sit down and this lady wispered/ yelled not there. Then pointed to this seat across from a boy  and the end of the table so i sat there. Soon after the lady came out with a bowl of corn and beef stew. The bowl was half full and looked so gross but i was so hungry I couldnt help it. It ate every last drop. When i looked up the guy was just staring at me. "What?" I laughed.
