Chapter 20 : Life or Death?

~Kaito's POV~

Knowing that Yui was in a coma, I rushed immediatly to the hospital, raining and stormy, a bad day for us. I saw in the hospital, Yui was being taken to a room, she was really hurt, lots of bruises and wounds, and they said that she may even have a fracture, this is bad, I can't stop worriying about her.

" Excuse me, but the girl right there, will she be okay?! " I almost shouted infront of the nurse that was holding her forms,

She shook her head, " We don't know that yet, she will undergo surgery, she may die from the bloodloss.... I'm so sorry about your friend. "

I pulled my hair and widened my eyes as I saw yui at the operating room, " Y-Yui...... you can't die.... I need you.... " I started crying at a post, as I went outside, while it was raining heavely,

I just remained standing at the rain, waiting for her to finish her surgery, it took about 6 hours, and it was getting late.

" Sir, your friend is finished with the operation, but you can only visit for 15 minutes... " the doctor announced as I went into her room, I saw her, lying down, sleeping.

I burried my face onto her blanket, " I'm sorry if I couldn't protect you Yui.... I'm the worst. " I grabbed onto her tightly, " I'm ..... so sorry, Yui. " I fell asleep,

" Sir, your time is-- Eh? " The nurse sweatdropped and faced away, " Its love, you can't do anything about it, can you? " she turned off the lights, " Goodnight lovers. "

The next day....

" H-huh? A blanket? " I woke up with a blanket on me, and I saw Kyoren sitting there, smiling at us, but Yui is still in a coma, I'm starting to miss her smiling face. "

Kyoren stood up and got near me, " Do you miss your girlfriend? "

I blushed and stood up as well, " SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!! " I continued, " Why are you even here? "

" Can't a guy visit his own friend and clumsy brother? " he mocked himself, and laughed,

" Clumsy? When did I become clumsy? " I snorted, " Tell me. "

He crossed his arms, " Explain why did you fall asleep when you can only visit until 7:00 pm? "

" It was an accident, I didn't notice I was sleepy. " I crossed my arms and sat down, " Why do you care? "

He chuckled, " I just care alot, too many asked questions. "

I just ignored his annoying statemant and got a glass of water. After a while, I got a print that Yui may wake up after months or not wake up at all, that made me pretty worried, so I can't get rid of the whole thing. I went home to see my mom and dad watching the news, they we're watching Yui's accident, which made me mad and go upstairs.

" GEEZ, WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO WORRIED ABOUT HER?! " I burried myself under the mattress and screamed, " I JUST CAN'T STOP CARING FOR THAT GIRL!! "

I heard barks from the door and scratches, I knew it was Coby cause he's the only dog we have, and believe me, he's all grown up after a few months.

" Bark! Bark! " Kyoren cosplayed as a dog to act along with Coby, I even thought he was the real thing,

I sweatdropped, " What are you wearing Kyoren? "

He laughed and ran around, " Its my....... cosplay! " he had sparkles around him, so did Coby,

" Just leave me alone, do you know I'm suffering with my own will here? " I burried my face to the pillow and started screaming, " You leave me alone! I can't stop worrying about her!! "

He closed his eyes and smiled, " C'mon Coby, let's leave Kaito-chan alone first. " he did so as they went out,

The next day....

I got a letter the next day saying that Yui had trouble with her brain, she might die from it also, which made me extremely worried than before, I quickly went to the hospital, then I saw her parents, crying infront of the big glass dividing the inside from outside, they hugged each other and cried, I almost cried as well.

Her mom noticed me standing there, " K-Kaito dear? Did you came to see Yui? "

I nodded, " Yeah, I heard she was in deep trouble, so I came rushing here. "

Her dad added, " We're so glad that you worry about her, and we hope that she'll be fine and wake up soon, we miss her so......much. " he started crying as her mom swiped his tears,

" I'm so sorry about this, aunt and uncle. " I looked down, even if it wasn't my fault, I felt luke I was the one who's responsible for this,

Her mom went near me and cuddled me, " It's not your fault Kaito, it was none of anyone's fault, don't you worry, she'll be safe. "

I nodded in agreement. After the talk, they said their goodbyes as they told me to watch over her, I agreed and I sat on a chair next to Yui's bed. I just stared at her, she kept on moving her eyes, but didn't seem she would wake up any moment. I just rested my head onto her chest and started to sleep.

That ends our chapter 20!! Omg, sorry for being so short, I was really busy today so I guess I didn't have muve time, but I'll be sure to make the next chapter longer and more interesting, so that all of you guys could enjoy! What would happen to Yui? Will she die from the huge brain damage? Or will she wake up and kiss Kaito just like in any other movie? Lets know the next chapter!
