After a couple days spent in French Court my ladies and I have already been getting comfortable. Of course I cannot be so careless considering I'm marrying Francis. However, there's no shame in looking at men.

Lola chuckles, "I've seen a couple guys that seem, so perfect!" Lola flips her curly hair over her shoulder and glances over at Greer, a smile never leaving her face. I always envy Lola, she's not only gorgeous but courageous. She fights for what's right, even when she's shut down because she's only my lady in waiting. I do not treat her as just my lady, she's my friend. So are all my other ladies. I do not enforce order on my ladies, I want them to have as free and unruled life as possible.

"So have I actually," Greer adds softly, "And I want the man I pick to be perfect because my first kiss has to be perfect." Greer is a graceful and sweet woman with so much beauty I'm surprised she hasn't been kissed before. I mean, I can't really talk, I haven't been kissed either. To me, a first kiss isn't such a huge deal, it's just one kiss out of many you'll have throughout your lifetime. My ladies don't agree with my opinion; considering they've been going on and on about getting their first kiss here at French Court by the most qualified man.

"I don't see why the kiss is so important." I giggle, trying to make my statement more light-hearted.

"Mary," Kenna's mouth hangs open after she speaks my name, "A first kiss is only one of the most important events in a girl's life ever!"

I laugh, throwing my head back almost completely and then look at the three of them in the eyes, "You can't be serious."

Lola nodded, "Honest."

"Okay, maybe they are exaggerating," Greer tells me, "But I do think it's important. And something you shouldn't just waste on anyone."

I smile and then look at them once more, lowering my voice as I say, "It's not like this is you loosing your virginity, it's just a kiss."

Lola's smile never leaves her face even if she doesn't agree with me; I envy that about her too. "Mary," Lola's Scottish accent booms, "Have you ever kissed anyone? If you have you must know more than us virgin lips."

I laugh softly to myself as she refers to themselves as virgin lips yet, she's actually referring me as well because I'm still a "virgin lip" as well.

"No Lola, I've never kissed anyone." I blush a bit, of embarrassment but I don't understand why I'm embarrassed since they haven't kissed anyone either, "I have to wait until Francis kisses me, he's going to be my husband."

Kenna chuckles, "You don't 'have' too."

"I feel as if I do, he is in charge of this relationship. I didn't negotiate this marriage, neither did he but he's more for this arrangement than I."

Greer looks at me, "Have you spoken to Francis at all?"

"No, well I have but only briefly, 'Hi' 'Goodbye' 'Good Morning' 'Goodnight'." I smile awkwardly as I finish what I was saying.

Kenna turns her attention to me completely now, "I think you should hangout with him. So, you'll no longer be a "virgin lip" like us."
