Amandla Fitzgerald always knew that one thing in her life was certain: if Voldemort ever came back into power, she was going to become a Death Eater. That, though true, was the hardest thing in her life to deal with, and she had to deal with her longtime crush, Hermione Granger, would never like her. But, thanks to being a Fitzgerald, she knew what her future had in store if he ever did come back into power after his long defeat.
And as fate would have it, he did. That Dark Lord whom ruined her life and followers took away her parents was back in power, and she was pretty sure that her life was ruined. Not only had she finally gotten to have a conversation with Hermione, now she knew that when summer came again, she was going to become a Death Eater, like she was always destined to be.
With secrets, lies, and ultimate betrayal by those she loved lost, Amandla becomes just like her parents - in more ways than one. Hunting down her past, learning about her uncle, her addictions become clearer when she's rejected by her longtime crush.
