7 - Dreaming with the devil.

I wrap my pale body in a  towel and walk down the stairs.

"Where are you going?" Kai yells from his couch being nosey.

"Pool" I yell annoyed. He's not gonna let me go until I agree to help him.

"Off limits." He chuckles.

"What, why?" I furrow my brows.

Before I can turn I feel my body lifted off the ground and with super-speed, I drop into the pool.

I look down, there's hardly any water, I'm covered in blood.

I scream the blood smells awful and my whole body's got the thick red liquid all over me.

I look up and see him laughing. I look around the pool bodies flooded in the sloppy pool.

My eyes run as I hop out of the pool and run. 

I try to run from the house in nothing but a bikini in barefoot covered in blood.

I meet the edge of the house and hit the invisible wall trapping me in the house.

"Sorry. It's my feast from last night" He grins.

I turn to face him. He looks at me smirking and rubs his thumb across my cheek, and popping his finger in his mouth drinking the blood from it.

"You disgust me" I run to the bathroom and lock the door, I rip the curtain across and blast the water, I watch as some innocent person's blood streams from my body.

I walk out fresh and dry off, I choose a gray/black sweatshirt and black cotton leggings, I put my dark hair upon my head in a messy bun and walk down the stairs again to eat before pausing to listen. Arcadius? 

Kai sounds panicky.

"Look, I'm trying to make her reveal a darker side but it's not working."

"She's got to be bad. She ended up in hell." Cade says simply.

How's he here?

"I told you, I CAN'T!" Kai now yells.

I hear a gut-wrenching sound. Literally, the sound of guts wrenching. I run into the room and look at the wooden branch in Kai's lower stomach. I sly my eyes at him and see Arcadius.

"Ah, Naomi" Arcadius smiles softly.

"Arcadius" I smile fake.

"Hm...hm...hm." He looks at me. "No point hiding it, you know what we've been saying. Unluckily you have no idea how to block me out." He smiles before walking off.

I hear grunting and look down. I drop down and look at him.

"You deserved this," I say simply.

"I was looking out for myself. Just tap into your freakin' dark side already so I can be free of debt." He groans as I rip the wood from his stomach.

"Debt?" I help him stand.

"I have a debt to Cade." He pouts.

"Why?" I sit close to him.

"You think breaking Elena's curse was enough? Naomi, I'm a sociopath, I do one more deed for Cade and I get to keep living as a sociopath the way I like life." He huffs.

"I was awake the other night when you was in my room." I look at him.

"What are you talking about?" He looks confused.

I stutter for a moment.

"Nothing." I purse my lips and walk to the kitchen.

I take a clear glass from the cupboard and pour some milk into it, I finish it and go to my room.

I sit on my bed and drift off into an afternoon nap.

I get up and go down into the kitchen,  I put my arms on the counter and grab a glass. I feel arms snake around my waist and sloppy kisses down my neck. I breath heavy and turn around, Kai picks me up and places me on the counter and stands between my legs, moving the kiss to my lips. My stomach is in butterflies and my heads everywhere, I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer. All of a sudden I gasp for air and shoot up from my bed.

"That was fun, shame you woke up." He smirks. He had gotten in my head and played me for a fool.

"Don't do that!" I shriek walking out of my room wiping sweat from my head.

"Why not?" I can sense his smirk as he follows me.

"Because you're gross, insensitive and a jerk."I tilt my head.

"Ouch" He winks.

"So you feel nothing but hate for me?" He smiles creepily.

"Nothing but hate" I rest my left arm on the table and he rests his left, I stand closer when saying it.

"So it doesn't affect you when I do this?" He speeds around and has his mouth near my ear, whispering huskily.

I struggle to get the words out.

"Nope"

"How about this?" He holds my waist gently.

"No." I clear my throat.

"Maybe I need to push another button" He pulls himself closer and slowly grazes my neck with his lips sending shivers down me. I push away quickly.

"Gross get away" I scoff.

"Okay" He smiles with his eyes.
