I opened the door to the house, the loud music made my ears hurt, but I knew after a few drinks it would be just the right volume. There were random pieces of clothing and solo cups in the entrance hallway. I grinned I love parties.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a cup splashing a little bit of every alcohol in it. I didn’t want to miss out on anything did I? I filled it to it's rim and then drained it, and filled it back up, I repeated my actions a few more times. I wanted to be caught up with everyone else, I waited until I was laughing for no reason.

“I’ve been waiting for you to get home” Tyse said coming up beside me, he was just as drunk as I was. I wasn’t even halfway drunk yet.

“Why?” I asked him grabbing a beer and handing him one, he took my hand leading me down the hall to the stairs. He pulled me to the upstairs living room where all my friends were and sat me down in his lap, I got up and sat in between Mark and Lucas. I busied myself talking with Grayson and finishing off six more bottles of beer and a few shots.

“I'll do a shot off Dakota” Tyse said looking at me.

“I'm not drunk enough for that yet” I told him, and winked. I got up taking the shot out of his hands and downing it, I grabbed a random cup from someone standing in the hallway; I took a sip feeling the familiar burn of alcohol run down my throat. This drink seemed to be particularly strong, I coughed.

I party a lot, and I can hold my drinks, but this drink was new. The usual burn of the alcohol had lost it's burn, but this was rich. I took a whiff of it, it smelled… different like peppermint, tequila and jack. I shrugged and took another sip, trying to swallow it. I went downstairs feeling a bit dizzy, into the crowd of people dancing.

I went to the kitchen and Sunny was there waiting for me.

“Holy shit did you just turn Tyse down again?” she asked me.

“Hi Sunny” I muttered, looking at the bottles of different kinds of alcohol on the island, I picked up a random one and poured it in my cup. That should do it. I tipped it back in my mouth taking a swig and then put it back down, and drained my cup gagging afterwards. I was going to have a killer hangover tomorrow.

I need to grind on guys now. I went to the living room listening to the loud music and deep base, the strobe lights and alcohol were getting to me.

“Dance with me” I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around to Tyse standing there smirking.

“Hi” I said, he took my hand leading me through sweaty bodies.

“Hi” he said in my ear putting his hands on my waist and grinding my ass into him from behind. I reached my hands up and put them around his neck. I'm not a slut, Sunny is a slut, I'm not. Tyse has been waiting on me since 7th grade, I finally decided what the hell I'm never going to find my mate, might as well give him a shot.

This is the first time I’ve actually been drunk enough to dance with him though. Tyse is a man-whore, but he said if I would give him a chance he would stop his ways. So far we’re in the second semester of senior year and he has kept his promise.
