Rem x Reader (Fluffy One-Shot)

Author's Note: Welcome to the Rem x Reader. This is my first Fluffy One-Shot without smut, so it might suck. If it does, tell me so in the comments xD. 

The moon was high in the sky and the breeze swept my [h/c] hair back from my face. The wind was warm tonight and the fireflies were twinkling in the bushes. It was a great night for a stroll through town. Although I had been warned multiple times by my friends to never go out alone in the dark, nothing bad ever happened. Until that night...

I walked through the streets, glancing to my left and right, admiring the darkness. I had always loved the look of nighttime. The stars shined bright in the sky, the moon illuminating everything beneath it. I stopped when I reached the children's playground and decided to take a break. I sat on a nearby swing and lounged. 

The snap of a branch startled me, forcing me to leap off the swing and glance around nervously. My breath wavered and my legs began to shake slightly. I inhaled slowly and exhaled, trying to calm my nerves. 'It was probably just an animal.' I thought to myself. Regardless, I started walking home. When I was almost half way home, I could have sworn I heard footsteps behind me, but when I whipped around to see, there was nothing there. I sighed. 

Suddenly, I was grabbed by an incredibly strong force. I was slammed against the stone wall of a building. Red eyes stared into mine, paralyzing my entire body. 'What is happening?' I thought. I shut my eyes and let hot tears fall down my face. 

The creature was immediately shoved off of me and I was held by warm, strong arms. I looked up in amazement to see the student council president, Rem Koginuki. I blushed feverishly and gasped. The Vampire that was once holding me was now dust, blowing away in the wind. Rem held me close to him. 

"Are you alright?" he asked, picking me up bridal-style. I blushed even harsher and nodded. I was too embarrassed to speak. "Why would you be outside at night? That's very reckless." 

"I-I...like the dark. I'm sorry...R-Rem," I murmured into his chest. He simply sighed and carried me all the way to his house. 

He steadied me on my feet. "You should stay here for the night. It's getting late," he more demanded than suggested. I nodded in approval, blushing feverishly. He sat down on the couch and beckoned me to do the same. I stalked over slowly, looking down at my feet. My foot then caught in the rug on the floor and I started to fall forward. 

I was immediately scooped up by warm arms that held me close. "You're so clumsy," he commented, still holding me a couple inches from the ground. 

"I'm so sorry, Rem," I said. My face felt like it was going to melt away. 

"It is not a big deal, I'm just glad you're safe." He smiled, and I swore I saw him blush a bit. He put a hand on the back of my head and cradled me in his arms comfortingly. He leaned down and kissed my forehead. "You're so cute." It was then, when I fell fast asleep in his warm, loving arms. <3
