You walked down the red carpet of your hallway with 3 books balancing om the top of your head. Every step you took, you could feel the books tilting to either side.

"Ms. Cornway, I don't think my head is flat enough to be doing this" You said as you took the books off of your head. "Can we try something else?"

"Can?! I did not teach you to speak out of grammar Y/n! Repeat after me!" She yelled, "MAY we try something else?"

You sighed and smiled, "Pardon my language. May we try something else?"

"Young lady, I don't believe you're father is paying me to teach you to be a slug now is he?"

"No, Ms. Cornway."

"Now, go read those books that are in your hands. A princess needs knowledge."

"But we just started this lesson."

Ms. Cornway stared non-chalantly. She wasn't old nor was she young but she was very strict on whatever you did. "This lesson is now over. Go read those books or else I will tell your father about those diaries that you keep under your bed."

"Father doesn't care about my stories that I write. He cares whether or not I am a good person to the heart."

You walked away with the books in your hands. "Oh and Ms. Cornway?"

She looked at you while putting her glasses on, "Yes (Y/n)?"

You cleared your throat, "A teacher of the kingdom must label the King and Queen's daughter as princess. Not by her name. For that shows that we are close. We have known each other since I was born but in my eyes, we are not close at all. Also, you are a teacher. T-E-A-C-H-E-R. You do not have the right to try and blackmail me with information that is not important."

You walked away with a smirk and heard her huff out of frustration when you turned the corner. You went up the stairs to another long hallway, which was the path to your room.

"I'm losing too much weight by walking this hallway..."

You undid your dress and changed into a more comfortable night gown. You sat at your desk with the books.

"I should get to reading."

The first book you chose was a big book with lots of pictures of these.. creatures. You flipped through each page and just skimmed through each word/image.

"Where the heck did she find this book?"

You kept flipping your pages until you saw a sudden gold flower pop out of the book. You took it into your hands.

"What the... it's real?!"

Another one came out of the same page. Then another. And another... and another... up until your room was filled with them.

"I need... assistance." You sneezed. "And I'm allergic to pollen."

"That's not pollen, my princess."

You heard a squeeky voice come from somewhere..

"Hello?"

"I said, that's not pollen, my princess."

"Where is your voice coming from?"

A small hand popped out from under all of the gold flowers. "I'm right here!"

You pushed your way to the hand but it had disappeard. "Hello? Where are you now?"

The small hand poked out again but was on the other side from her this time. "I'm right here!
