Yuma PoV
She should be right here at this spot! But what was I expecting? For her to stay where she woke up? How could I be so dumb!
As I searched for her I got more and more panicked. I found her sweet scent but it broke off in the middle of the woods. This can't be good! I could still smell her fright. She must have gotten in a fight. But there was no scent of her enemy. None at all!
Shadow angels! This is bad! Shadow angels are different from fallen angels and not as dangerous but still ... They are creatures from the darkness like us and you shouldn't be regardless in there presents. Shadow angels are only the souls of angels who got stuck in purgatory, and yes that can happen too. It's unusual but possible. In contrast to fallen angels they have a hint of mercy left.
But because they have no smell it'll be hard to find them. And alone it's nearly impossible. I'm going to need the others.
Mizuki PoV
I sat crying on the ground, I was completely lost. "I'm going to lose my mind if this goes on!", I thought to myself. I started hearing whispers, maybe a vision of my mixed up mind.
Only seconds later warm shadows covered me and I heard soothing voices singing to me. At first I tried to fight back but soon realized I could achieve nothing. I slowly drifted in a warm, comforting sleep. I dreamed of a wide meadow with black roses. I saw Yuma and a man I didn't know, they talked about something. I walked towards them to understand what they were talking about. Too late I realized I was eavesdropping. To be exact when I stood right beside them. I petrified as I heard what they discussed.
"She is the chosen one so don't even dare to touch her. She's mine!" said Yuma.
"Don't be so pissed. You asked us for help so at least try to be friendlier." replied the other man, "But you know what's going to happen to her, don't you? And she may die."
"I know ...! But I don't want anything happen to her" Yuma hissed angrily.
What are they talking about? It seems intimate, like something I shouldn't listen to. But why didn't they realize me yet? I'm literally standing in front of them.
"We have to find her! Now. Before it's too late. The shadows are more dangerous then they look." The other man nodded.
"What is her current name?" he asked.
"Mizuki." Yuma answered. I lost balance for a moment and gasped. They were talking about me! Does this mean I'm in danger ...?
