Absolute Confusion Chapter6

Denis POV

I slowly opend my eyes i turned my head and sawncorl was still asleep, i stood up and walked over to the bathroom. I splashed some water up into my face and wipped it put my hands around the basin and stared at the mirror into myself. I had realisd what had happend but i didnt remeber much i sshook b my head and ran my fingrs through my hair i had one last glimpse at myself and realsised i had bags under my eyes wich meant i didnt get mush sleep? i opend the door and realised corl was moving and rolling awkwardly as if he was being strangled?

Corls POV

I heard footsteps b coming from my room i look up and its denis...he didnt seem happy? well i cant blame him for howmlong we were up last night im a fucking idiot thats what i am....."S-sorry denis im so sorry..........." i exclaimed a mumer from my jumper.

i realised he had sat down next to me with a glass of water staring into it as if hed seen a ghost. There was no reply. I looked up and realised he was gone...........Where ddi he go? I lifted my head from my arms and stared around the kitchen. "Denis? you there?" Still no reply. I frowned. Where could he have gone? I stood up from the dining table. I slowly, silently walked over to the lounge room. "Hello?" Again no reply. I decidedn I should check the bedroom because he did look tired. As i walked towards the bedroom i hear a door creek. Was he toying with me or was something wrong? I decided to be completely oblivious of what had just happend and continued to my room. As i opened the door i saw nothing i heard the door slam behind me. I turned to see what it was i b tried to open n it but it was stuck. I quickly turned and screamed! What IS THAT!! Suddemly i sit up from jy bed i see denis is sitting next to memonnthe edgenof the bed with a frown and his mouth opennslightly as if he wasnconfused and worried.

"You ok corl?" He asked his voice trembling.

"I-i-i dont know!" I stutterd i tried to explain what happend but it was no use 

"You had a nightmare corl!" He tried to put it into mybhead as calm but meaningfully as possible. I couldnt argue maybe he was right i slowly nodded my head staring at the end of the bed.

Denis POV

Im not sure if corl beleived my quite about him havinga nightmare.But it didnt matter he was ok thats all i needed.

"Hey corl wanna go to the beach? To get your mind of it." I exclaimed with a smile caught across my face. He turned to me and just glared at me....for quite a long time and then looked back to what he was doing. It was very unusual he did that. "Come on corl it'll be fun!" I said. He turned tonme and said a sjort quiet "ok...."
