[I know it's not much, but it's a start]
A young woman walked forward, taking in the scenery ahead. She was standing by the bank steps, observing the Second-Salem woman who so dared to make her words known, her hellbent nature on exposing witches and wizards set a layer of unease on the woman, her face in a watchful glare. The woman sighed, deciding to leave the scene of the annoying Second-Salem woman and head back to the Department of Magical Law to report her findings and words of the ill woman to Madam President, or anyone else worth telling.
The young woman wore a long coat along with an (Ilvermorny House) scarf, covering a majority of her body in an attempt to stay warm from the New York air. Under the coat lay her clothes, a simple buttoned up shirt with a (colour) vest wore over it. She wore long beige pants, matching with her black boots she wore everyday. The woman's hair flew in the wind, the (hair colour) strands flowing freely in the wind.
She walked briskly, wanting to get from point A to point B as soon as possible, to get out the cold and give her words before she forgot. Soon, a certain building came into view, and the woman walked particular man standing by an entrance to the building. A wizard guard, granting any witch or wizard the entrance to the Department of Magical Law.
"(Name) (Last Name), sir." The young woman, (Name), spoke, showing a badge from her wallet, showing her identification as an Auror on the investigative team for MACUSA. The wizard guard nodded, and opened the door, the no-maj building soon transforming into the familiar wizarding lobby. (Name) walked through the doors, heading up the stairs and to the elevator, seeing the house elf, Red, standing there, waiting.
I shouldn't worry Madam Piquery will the news of that ill woman... Maybe Graves wouldn't mind?
"Percival Graves office, please." She spoke, after a second, stepping inside the elevator to stand next to the small elf. Red grunted, using the clawed stick in his hand to push a button, making the elevator close and jump to the destination in a jiffy.
When the elevator stopped, (Name) stepped out and walked forward, turning slightly to thank the house, who only grunted in response. The young woman shook her head, not wanting to bother herself in the stuck up nature of the house elves. She continued forward, heading towards her dear friend and colleague's office.
One she arrived at the door, she knocked twice, knowing he kept his office locked with some kind of fancy spell.
"Yes, who is it?" A voice was heard from the other side of the door, undeniably Graves, which caused making (Name) perk up in excitement, knowing she wouldn't have to go all the way to the Major Investigative Department to find him.
"It's just me, (Name)... I have some information you might want to hear about." (Name) stated, making sure to include the last bit of information to draw him in. From behind the door, she could hear footsteps coming closer and finally the door was opened.
"Come in, (Nickname), what kind of information do you have this time?" Percival asked, a tinge of interest apparent, and all (Name) did was smile in a knowing manner.
.
For the next hour, (Name) and Percival talked, about the Second Salem woman, the children she kept, and the horrible things the woman has done. They talked about the attacks happening all over Europe, the happenings all over New York City, how he had been there to see a beast tear things up, and MACUSA matters in general until they were called into a meeting from Madam Picquery in the Major Investigative Department.
The elevator ride was short, and soon, they were stepping foot into the main room used for meeting and such. The investigative team stood in a circle, discussing the matters at hand. Thirty minutes had passed, and Madam President was talking.
" The International Confederation is threatening to send a delegation. They think this is related to Grindelwald's attacks in Europe." Madam Picquery spoke, making a clear point.
" I was there. This is a beast. No human could do what this thing is capable of, Madam President." Graves said, speaking up. (Name) nodded, she was close to adding her two cents into the conversation, but refrained, knowing it would ending up with talking about the Second Salem woman.
" Whatever it is, on thing's clear, it must be stopped. It's terrorizing no-majs and when no-majs are afraid, they attack. This could mean exposure. It could mean war." Madam Picquery spoke, looking Graves in the eye. The group nodded, agreeing with the President's words.
Footsteps were heard near the room, a woman by the name of Tina Goldstein was standing there, a man stood behind her, a obviously not from America.
" I thought I made your position here quite clear, Miss Goldstein." Madam Picquery spoke, irritated, yet keeping a calm demeanor.
" Yes, Madam President, but I-" Tina said, a bit frightened.
" You are no longer an Auror." The President responded.
" No, Madam President, but-" Tina started again, only to be interrupted again by Madam Picquery.
" Goldstein."
"There's been a minor incident-" Tina said, trying to win the President over.
" Well the office is currently concerned with very major incidents. Get out."
Tina stood, defeated before slowly turning away, dragging the young man with her. I curiously looked as they retreated, interested in what she had to say. I looked over to Percival, noticing the look of interest on his face and I knew we were thinking the same thing.
