Her Valentine's Day

I was walking outside when I bumped into someone. When I look at that person, immediately I felt all my nerves were all frozen.

Wait...no. That can't be him, right?

"Rose? ," he said.

"Do I know you?" I asked. I tried not to make a fool out of myself and act normal and of course I knew him.Of course, I did.

"It's James. Remember?" 

"I guess"

"Have you been well lately?" he gave a smile but it was sad.

"yes. You?," I asked.

"Yeah, me too"

We didn't even talked about and eventually, we went back to our separated routes. When I was on my way back, I decided to look back while seeing him walking away from me.

How weird it is that two people have been so close, that know each other suddenly become strangers like they never met before like they just met for the first time.Suddenly I could feel tears were filling around the eyes and without realizing it ran down on my cheeks. I swear I never wanted to see him again. I swear that I'll be able to forget all this. It did work for 8 years but did it came back to me again? Normally people will get so happy and excited when they see them but me, I wanted to cry. Instead of tears of happiness,  it was sadness.

I don't why but I feel so hurt when I see him, everytime I see him and especially now, after 8 years.

But what can I do? There's nothing to do left and even if I did, it can never change anything that it has been.

And there I said softly , 

I still love you.
