Draco's POV
I watched Potter run off to face the Dark Lord while I shoot curse after curse into the crowd in front of me. I didn't dare hit any other death eaters because my mom went with the Dark Lord and I don't want her hurt. I honestly don't want Potter hurt either. I just hope he can get passed Voldermort and win this thing.
Some time later I watched as Voldermort paraded out of the forest leading a chained up Hagrid that was carrying something in his arms. Hagrid was crying.
No. I thought as Voldermort shouted in triumph. No.
I watched him yank Hagrid forward and the half giant sat Potter's dead body on the cobblestone. I jerked forward as my father tried to hold me back. "No." I whispered. I watched, helpless, as Neville stepped forward and made some speech about people dying every day. Voldermort just laughed and sent the killing curse his way. The boy collapsed to the ground as people around him screamed.
"Anyone else dare to challenge me!" Voldermort yelled. "Anyone!" No one stepped up. No one dared. Voldermort sent some people into the crowd for the mudbloods. He started killing them one by one until my mother came out dragging Granger. "Not that one." He said. "That one gets a special treatment. Crucio!" Grander fell to the ground writhing in pain. "Take her to the dungeons. I'm not done with her." My mother dragged Granger from the crowd into the castle.
The crowd dispersed and my father left go of me. I slumped to the ground. Finally I was the only one on the bridge but Potter's dead body. Someone had kicked him and he was laying upsidedown. I stood and walked over to him. I flipped him over to see the green eyes that I loved. They were empty, lifeless. I sighed and closed them. I felt tears sliding down my face.
"Goodbye Potter." I sighed softly. I stood up and looked around. It was growing dark. I began to walk inside when something caught my eye. Potter's wand. I scooped it up and stuck it in my pocket. Then I walked inside.
