~More Then An Experiment?: Gladion X Reader~

~Prologue~

~Narrator's P.O.V~

A female named (y/n) panted, as she was running down the halls, desperately looking for an exit. For (y/n), an exit was her only hope. A hope of escape, and, freedom.

As guards approached (y/n), terror filled her very soul. Out of fear, (y/n) cried out, and, began to glow. The guard's hands were on (y/n), when, she transformed. She transformed into a very rare, and, powerful Pokémon. Mewtwo.

The guards backed away, shaking, in fear. It appeared that (y/n) was afraid as well. As she moved her left arm to the left, the wall broke. Using this, to her advantage, (y/n) ran out. That is, until, she reached a cliff. Dead end.

(y/n) began to shake, in fear. Thoughts of being experimented on, once more, frightened her. While trying to think of what to do, thought of the previous hour filled her mind.

~Flashback~

(y/n) had woken up, in a white science lab. As (y/n) looked around, she noticed that she was in a cylinder-like capsule. (y/n) looked to her left, to see another capsule. In it, held a mysterious pink blob.

Questions of every kind filled (y/n)'s head. Then, there was a noise. (y/n) jerked her head to the right, to see some scientists, and, a man in a suit enter. Strolling next to the suited man, is what (y/n) guessed to be a Pokémon.

(y/n), she wasn't a big fan of Pokémon. It's not that she was afraid of them. She just never took interest in them. That's all. If (y/n) only knew how close she'd become to Pokémon in the near future.

"Hello, my dearest test subject." The suited man said, while approaching (y/n). "T-Test subject?" (y/n) asked, in fear. "Why, yes! You're very lucky. You're going to change the future!" "How?" "Glad you asked. You see that Pokémon to your left? That's a ditto. It has the ability to transform into any Pokémon. But, we've calculated that if you fuse a ditto, with a human, that hybrid will be able to transform into any Pokémon, and, human! You'll be the perfect weapon!"

But, (y/n) didn't like the idea of being a weapon. She just wanted to live her life. Simple, just the way she liked it. She started banging on the cylinder's walls, trying to break it.

"It's no use. Now, start the experiment!" (y/n) then saw a scientist push a few buttons. Afterwards, (y/n) noticed a tingling going through her body. Then, everything went black.

When (y/n) opened her eyes, she looked around. She was still in the cylinder. "Yes! The experiment was a success!" Experiment? (y/n) then realized that they meant her. "From now on, you'll be known as Ditto one-zero-nine. Now, what do you have to say?"

(y/n) couldn't believe she had been fused with a ditto. When she looked in the mirror, she saw that she had pink hair, and, purple eyes. Her body skin, and, clothing, they were still the same.

Then, the sadness took over. When (y/n)'s tears fell, she started to glow. The glow was so bright, that it blinded everyone. When the glow disappeared, (y/n) was no longer human. She was a Nidoqueen.

Everyone started clapping. "Perfect! A perfect transformation. Now, transform into this." The man said, while holding up a picture of a Pokémon (y/n) had never seen before. "This is Mewtwo, the world's most powerful Pokémon."

(y/n) decided that she wasn't going to let them control her, any longer. She was going to be free! (y/n) then punched the cylinder, the motion breaking at her powerful fist's touch.

After doing such a thing, (y/n) transformed into a human. But, this time, she had black hair, and, blue eyes. (y/n) started running, as fast as she could. "After her!"

~End of Flashback~

(y/n) couldn't think of what to do. She was stuck, at a cliff, with nowhere to go. "You can't escape." The suited man said. (y/n) then realized her only choice. Jump.

And, that's what (y/n) did. She jumped. (y/n) tried to remember a fast water-type Pokémon. Then, it hit her. (y/n) focused, and, was soon a golduck. (y/n) plunged into the water, making sure to stay out of sight.

After a while of swimming, (y/n) decided to come up, to the surface. No one was around her. Had she escaped? How far had she gone? (y/n) didn't know the answer to either of these questions.

Though, (y/n) knew something. She needed to get as far away, as possible. She then remembered how a good friend of hers had left for the Alola Region. (y/n) wondered if she'd be safe there.

Realizing that she had no other choice, (y/n) started swimming. She had no idea where the Alola Region was. But, (y/n) wouldn't give up. For, she needed to be free, no matter the cost. Though, (y/n) would constantly wonder what the future held in store for her...
