~More Then An Experiment?: Gladion X Reader~

~Chapter Four~

~(y/n)'s P.O.V~

As my eyes fluttered open, I took a look at my surroundings. I was in a small motel room, with, not much to it. I then noticed that I was on the bed. Why am I...?

I remember going to bed on the couch, so, how am I on the bed? I then heard someone's voice. "Oh. You're awake." Wait, I recognize that voice. His name was Gladion... Right?

I turned, and, sure enough, there was that familiar set of emerald eyes. "Why am I on the bed?" "When I woke up, I noticed you looked uncomfortable. So, I put you on the bed." "Thanks." "Yeah, whatever. Don't mention it."

After a while of silence, I realized that I was pretty hungry. But, I didn't want to trouble Gladion, after all that he's done for me. "You hungry?" How did he...? Is he a mind reader!?

"Yeah, I am a bit hungry..." "Then, let's go get something to eat." "Are you sure it's not too much trouble?" "I'm sure. Let's go." Gladion said, while standing up. "Right now?" I asked, while standing up, as well. "Problem with that?" I blinked. "No. Not at all." I quickly transformed to look a bit more appropriate for going out, and, then, we were off.

As we arrived, the waiter led us to our seats. This place is quite fancy, for a breakfast place. We both then gave us our menus, then, left.

I was looking through my menu, when Gladion decided to start a conversation. "Have you ever heard of Team Skull?" My head tilted in confusion. "What's Team Skull?" "Team Skull is an organization that steals Pokémon from abusive trainers, or, from trainers that don't respect their Pokémon." "And, you're part of this organization?" "Yes." "So, let's say a trainer bullies their Pokémon. Does Team Skull take the Pokémon away, then, realize it?" "Sometimes. But, other times, the Pokémon stay, to help free other Pokémon." "This sounds like a great organization." Our waiter then came back, and, took our drink orders. Then, left, again.

"I'm guessing that you want to know how we know about you. Am I correct?" "You are." "Well, you see, Team Skull makes it their mission to know about abused Pokémon, experimented Pokémon, etc. And, because you're an abused Pokémon, we made it our mission to know all we could about you. (y/n), Team Skull wants to help you."

Wow, I must say, I'm truly touched. "(y/n), would you like to join Team Skull?" I thought about it for a moment. But, my mind was already made up. "Yes. I would like to join." "Great. Now, before Team Skull will recognize that you truly want to help our case, you must save a Pokémon." "Which Pokémon should I save?" Gladion began to think, for a moment, before responding.

"You should save Tapu Koko." "A Tapu Pokémon? Why?" "Because, the Tapu have been abused for many years." I had no idea...

"Wait, how am I going to be able to pull this off?" "I could help." "How?" "You're part Pokémon, right?" "Yes..." "I could put you in a poke ball, then, make you my Pokémon." "Wait, will I be your slave!?" "No! I'd just help you capture Tapu Koko. That's all."

After thinking about it, for a few minutes, I realized that I truly wanted to join Team Skull. I nodded. "Okay, just give me a second." Gladion then pulled out a poke ball. Only, it was purple. I've never seen a poke ball before. Does it make a difference? "You sure about this?" I nodded, once more. Gladion looked around, to make sure no one was looking. Then, he touched my head with the poke ball. Team Skull, here I come!

~Gladion's P.O.V~

I smirked, before putting the poke ball away. When the waiter came back, he looked quite confused. "She wasn't feeling well. Just bring me the bill." The waiter nodded, and, left. After he left, I pulled out my phone, and, called Guzma. After telling Guzma about my progress, he seemed quite pleased. "Good work. Now, don't come back, till you have captured Tapu Koko." The call ended. Well, looks like I'll be catching a Tapu Pokémon. With an inexperienced Ditto hybrid. Just great...
