~More Then An Experiment?: Gladion X Reader~

~Chapter Seven~

~(y/n)'s P.O.V~

My eyes fluttered open, to see... Not much. It was pretty dark. Just what time is it? I looked at the clock, to see that it was six-O'nine-am. I sighed, before decided that I'd do something productive.

~Gladion's P.O.V~

I groaned, as I opened my eyes. I noticed that the lights were on. I looked at my phone, to see that it was only seven-thirty-eight-am. What's (y/n) doing up, at this hour!? I sat up, and, got out of bed.

"You better have a good reason to-" I stopped, when I saw that (y/n) was cooking. (y/n) turned to face me. "Oh, did I wake you? I'm so sorry!" "Just what are you doing up, this early?" "Cooking breakfast!" "I see that. But, why this early!?" "I wanted to make the breakfast before you woke up." "Why?" "To repay for all that you've done so far."

I stood there, shocked. No one has ever done something like this for me. But, I still don't understand why she'd go to such lengths to do something for me.

"I hope you like pancakes." (y/n) said, while handing me a plate, that held three pancakes. "Um... How am I supposed to eat these?" "Right!" (y/n) got a fork, and, handed it to me. I then cut up a piece of the pancakes, and, put it in my mouth.

I've been awake for about five minutes, and, I've been shocked, two times already. And, I don't get shocked very easily. This pancake is amazing! But, of course, I didn't let it show. "You like it." (y/n) said, very eagerly. "Yeah, it's okay." I said, not showing any emotion. "Okay..."

"So, how far have you gotten in the poke-dex?" "I've already finished it." "Already?" "Yep!" Okay, how does this girl keep shocking me? "That's... Rather impressive." "Thank you!" (y/n) said, while smiling.

"So, Gladion, what will I be doing today?" "Now that you've learned about the different Pokémon, it's time to learn about things like Pokémon types, moves, stats, and, battle strategies." "Oh, okay. When will we start?" "Right now." "Now?!" "Yes." "Oh, okay! Let the learning begin!" I sighed. I don't know who much longer I can handle this...

~(y/n)'s P.O.V~

Wow, I didn't know that studying would be so exhausting. "Are we done yet?" "Yes." I cheered. "Well, let me rephrase that. We're done, with battle strategies." "Oh... What's left?" "There's only one thing left, before we can start the actual battling." "And, that is...?" "Transforming." "I can already transform." "I know. But, your transformations are very slow." "Slow?" "Yes. When you transform, I notice that it takes about thirty seconds to transform. We're going to work on that." "Oh, okay."

For the entire afternoon, I worked on transforming faster, until, it only took me five seconds to transform. "Good job. You've made progress. I'm really proud of you." I could feel my cheeks heating up. But, I'm not sure why.

"How about you get some sleep? For, tomorrow, we're going to see if you've learned anything." "You mean...?" "Yep. We're going to start battling." "Okay, well, night!" "Good night." Gladion then turned off the lights, and, turned off his phone. Meanwhile, I got on my bed, which was the couch, and, got comfortable. I can't believe it. My dream to join Team Skull, and, be accepted for being... This thing... Will soon be a reality. I fell asleep, with a smile on my face.
