The Soul of a Dragon

Chapter 41.

 The decorations were all set up, and looked amazing thanks to the gang, and mainly Astrid and YN. It looked fantastic. The celebration was to celebrate the return and visit of Heather. This was going to be fun, and nice, right?

YN grinned as she as Astrid were rather proud of themselves for getting it all set up so nicely, and in time. The celebration started... well- Now! The two high fived. ''We did great!''

''Indeed, you did ladies.'' Eret grinned, as he pecked Astrid. The crowd of vikings began to pour in, along with the dragons too. The party began. ''Mind if I steal her?'' Eret winked, as Astrid smile. ''Ofcourse not, have fun.'' YN winked in response, as the two made their way to the dance floor.

YN eagerly looked about for Hiccup, as she looked across the crowd.

She was pulled into a hard chest, with his breathe along her neck, he kissed up her jawline. ''Looking for me, M'lady?'' He huskily whispered to her, sending shivers down YN's back. ''Indeed, Haddock. And save that behaviour for another day!'' YN teased, as Hiccup went slightly red from her remark. ''My- My! You ladies have done  fine job.'' 

He remarked with a goofy grin, as he pecked YN's lips. ''Why, thankyou, o wise one.'' She winked, as he rolled his eyes. ''Ah shush. Sorry, I was gone this morning...'' He murmured sheepishly as he rubbed the nape of his neck. 

''It's fine. I had a run in with Heather.'' YN laughed, as Hiccup smiled. ''Speaking of Heather, Ruffnuts said she can stay with them. I'd better go tell her, catch you on the dance floor for our song in 5 minute?'' Hiccup smirked. ''Woudlnt miss it for the world.'' YN winked, as Hiccup laughed and scampered off.

Astrid joined YN's side. ''Care to dance?'' YN laughed, as she bowed. ''Ofcourse.'' The two began to dance, taking the centre of the room, everyone watched again. As Hiccup and Eret rose their brow. ''Well! I see how it is!'' Hiccup laughed, as Heather joined him.

''Can we talk? its very important... It's to do with what could stop war.'' Heather whispered, Hiccup nodded as he went up to the balcony with her...

YN quirked her brow, as she saw Hiccup and Heather dissapear upstairs... Astrid noticed this too. ''Let's follow them.'' She stated and dragged you off the dancefloor.'

Quickly, you both made it to the door and heard the end of their conversation... But werent looking.

''Marry me, and there wont be a war. Marry her and there will be.'' 

Hiccup widened his eyes, as Heather pushed him into the wall and kissed him. YN peeked around the corner with Astrid, and gasped. 

''HOW COULD YOU! We are through!'' YN yelled, as Astrid held a disgusted look. ''Wow, Hiccup. Wow.'' She hissed, as Hiccup widened his eyes again. ''NO! It- It isnt what it looks like! Please, YN! Astrid!'' He yelled as Heather stood with a grin. YN rushed off in tears, well Astrid stood there. ''Leave he alone Hiccup. Give her space now and think about who you want.'' She sighed, and ran off after YN.

Hiccup stood there in anger. ''HOW DARE YOU!" He yelled at Heather. ''I was going to propose to her tonight!'' He cried out. ''It's all of Berk and the dragons, or her Hiccup. You've got to choose. I was just helping you make the right choice.'' Heather stated and walked off, as Valka entered the door, with confsuon.

Hiccup was on the floor in tears. As Valka rushed to his side... and comforted him. ''Heather kissed me, and I couldnt get her off in time... YN saw... oh god mum, I've lost her... and if I dont marry Heather, all of Berk and the Dragons are at war, what do I do? I was going to propose to YN tonight... but- I, I love her.'' He cried out, as Valka hushed him.

''Follow your heart, YN, needs space and you need to talk to her. We will stand beside you, no matter what.''

What was he to do? Save Berk, and the dragons by marrying Heather? Or follow his heart, and marry his true love, YN? Everyone else, or her? Would she even take him back after this?

Would she ever marry him, or has he lost her?
