Oshawott knew exactly why the church was on fire. when he ran into the woods, he left his cigarette on the table. What Oshawott, including Dewott and Snivy, didn't know was why there were so many kids and adults around the church. "I'm going out there!," Oshawott yelled through the screams. Snivy looked at him in disbelief. "Are you crazy, Oshawott? You WILL die if you go there!" Snivy said, looking extremely worried. The last thing she wanted was for Oshawott to die, even after all this. Oshawott's eyes melted into Snivy's. "I'm not going in, just seeing whats going on, okay?" Oshawott was leaving the car, when Dewott grabbed his arm. "Be careful, okay?" Oshawott nodded on went on his way. He eventually got up the hill and talked to an audino, who looked like she was about to panic. "Is everything okay, ma'am?", Oshawott asked, concerned. "As long as everyone's out, it'll be fine", she said, with a broken looking grin. She than lost all expression as her face went white and her retinas shortened. " Igglybuff, Cleffa, Pichu, Togepi." "Ma'am?" "I left them." Oshawott held his head high, as he stated, "No more children are gonna die this week." He went into the church through the window.
Oshawott crawled throughout the floor, avoiding this smoke and the collapsing pieces of wood raining down, while at the same time trying to use water pledge to put out any flame in sight. He stopped and his ears perked up. He could hear the traumatized voices of the baby pokemon. "Don't worry!", Oshawott shouted at them, "I'm coming to get you!" Oshawott sliced through the wall, not caring about his blade's aura. He began picking up the pokemon and putting them out of the window. Oshawott was about to get the last one out when a beam of wood collapsed on top of him. Just before he blacked out, he saw Snivy carrying out the last one with her vines, before she looked at him and started crying.
