Dewott slammed her back against the wall. Her face contracted in agony, with a combination of sweat and tears streaming down her face. "Damnit, Oshawott..." She begged, slamming a fist into the wall, hammering it to make it obey her will. "Don't die..... not yet...." She suddenly bolted through the door and dashed down the hall, her hand covering her face.
Snivy tried to say something, but couldn't make a sound. This couldn't be it. She had to do something. About 15 minutes passed of her doing nothing but staring at his expressionless face. Snivy stood up, took his shell, and walked out, In a daze. Dewott had taken the car, so Snivy had to walk the way home. Oshawott was dead, yet wasn't. That body back at the clinic wasn't Oshawott's. Oshawott was somewhere else--- maybe asleep at the park, or playing pinball in the bowling alley, or sitting down on a curb near her house, smoking. He isn't dead, she said to herself, he isn't dead.
She walked around until dusk. Mostly in the street where she would get honked at and cussed out. Eventually, a Sawk asked her if she needed a ride. "Huh? Oh. Yeah. I guess so," Snivy squeaked out, around 5 seconds after she was asked. "You alright, you look like you've been drinking." Snivy didn't say anything. She was looking straight ahead. "Hate to tell you this," The Sawk said, dryly, 'but you're bleeding all over my car." She blinked. "I am?" "Your hands, kid." He was right. She had accidently cut herself on Oshawott's shell. "S-Sorry, mister," Snivy said, sheepishly. "That's alright, we're at your stop now."
Snivy walked into the door, where she saw her mother, smiling at her. "Hey, how'd it go?" She looked down and instantly stopped smiling. Snivy unloaded all of the events that had previously happened on her mom. Serperior didn't say anything. She just wrapped herself around Snivy. They both went to sleep, exhausted.
