Why I left the Phandom

In the Phandom, you can't express your opinion about anything without death threats and insults and a ton of hate.

Especially when it comes to Phan.

If you say you don't ship Phan, you suddenly have millions of people telling you to kill yourself in the comments.

Although I didn't agree with this comment either, in a collab with Catrific and Dan I saw a comment that said "is it just me or would they be the perfect couple?"

I thought, ew, no I hate cat.

But obviously I didn't reply to the comment because I am not the type of person who wants to bring other people down, even on the internet.

And then there were hundreds of replies, and everyone was disagreeing with it, which is fine. Those comments were something like this:

It's definitely just you.
Ew, no.
No way.

Now these comments were fine, but then I saw some in there that just really made me angry.

Gross. Kill yourself.
That's disgusting. I hate you.
Hahah I hope you die.

I just couldn't believe that that poor person was receiving so much hate just because they said they shipped Dan with someone other than Phil, even if it was Cat.
