In the life of a teenager

part 4

[Previously on 'my fiction story'...' Stephanie finds the courage to stop the crew from talking and say, 'Isaac, I’ve had a crush on you for a while now'... Dwight immediately grabs his now fully charged phone and dials for Kate. 

Kate: ‘hello?'...  

Kate: 'well what do we do then, she started crying when ya left and I’m not gunna tell her he don’t feel the same was especially if it’s not true'... After school Dwight gets a call and it reads…]

 After school, Dwight gets a call and it reads "Steph" with a picture of a Starbucks cup. He answers.

Dwight: "hello?"

Stephanie: "hello... is this Dwight"

Dwight: "yea is me, was wrong?"

Stephanie: "nothing why?"

Dwight: "I dun no is just every time you call me there's something wrong."

Stephanie: "well there is kind of something wrong... you know I dint do to school today right?"

Dwight: "yea, what happened, you never miss school?"

Stephanie: "I was embarrassed and things would have been weird between me and him"

Dwight: "Steph, trust me, I speak for most of the guys in this world, when that type of thing happens, what we do is pretend nothing happened until you bring it up or he really wants you to know how he feels."

Stephanie: "I know but it’s going to be weird between us...urrrrh... what do I dooooooooo..."

Dwight: "I just told you, pretend nothing happened."

Stephanie: "that'll never work!!"

Dwight: "how the fuck should you know? Have you ever been in this situation before?"

Stephanie: "...."

Dwight: "I thought so, just trust me, I have experience, it won’t take it all away, but most of the awkwardness will be gone"

Stephanie: "ok, bye"

Dwight: "bye"

*Dwight ends the call*

          Dwight, Kate, and Isaac are at their lockers still laughing about the joke Isaac made about Mr.

tortellini, Ms. Blake's replacement for the week and a friend named  Kiana invited them to what she

said was going to be the party of the year with drinks, music, and thinks that can’t be spoken of at

school. Kiana wasn’t as close as the crew was to each other, they were brothers and sisters, but

she was close, cousin that lives next door close. She loved punk bands, curt cobain, most of all,

korn. The four leave the school together, and get pizza at Dwight’s father’s restaurant. Since they

aren't the type of people to eat a little, they get a small half sausage and pepperoni and half chicken

and pineapple pie. Dwight has two slices and a half, Kate had two slices, Isaac had two slices   and

the other half of the one Dwight cut in half, and Kiana had the last two slices left. They

discussed how Ms. Blake is in Ireland visiting her sick mother then the restaurant's second in

command, drake, comes and asked “ya guys need anything?" Dwight responds "yea, can we get a

round of beers?"  Drake and the crew laughed and drake went to the kitchen and brought four glass

bottles in brown paper bags. Dwight laughed and the rest of the crew looked at drake weirdly. Drake

distributes the drinks and goes to attend the other customers. Penelope walks in and orders a

peperoni slice not noticing the crew and Dwight goes to get a bottle opener and in the process,

scares Penelope. Dwight tells drake that Penelope was with him and not ti charge her and took the

bottle opener and Penelope with him back to the table. Penelope eats her pizza as Dwight opens

the bottles. Kate is the first to take a sip and says" this ain't beer, its coke!" Dwight gives Kate the,

are you serious look and response “of course it’s not beer, you know how much trouble my dad

could get into for having beer at this place? Even more for serving it to people under 21? STUPID."

after they finished, Dwight and Isaac walked Kate, Kiana, and Penelope home and went home

themselves to do and wait for the party the next day after school
