It's Cara Jones first day back at school. Jacob, her bully, constantly beats her up and does anything he can to make her life miserable, but will the new school year create a bond between them, or even more hatred.
Because of my incident I had lost a lot of weight, but for once I wanted to gain weight, weird right? The cuts on my arms had gone away so I could wear a short sleeved top again.

I decided to wear no makeup that day and let my hair flow naturally. As I walked outside, I remembered that I had to face my bully, the one who caused all of this to happen in the first place.
I slowly walked outside and the most peculiar thing happened.
"CARA!!!" Jacob yelled in excitement.
He ran over to me and I was quite scared, but instead he lifted me off the ground... hugged me tightly and spun me around... just like Brandon did...
"Ouch." I said, my stomach was still hurting, I hadn't eaten much at all, and him squeezing me that hard didn't help.
"Oh.. s...sorry." he said and ran his fingers through his hair. I honestly thought it was cute when he did that.
What is wrong with you Cara! He's your bully! You don't think ANYTHING about him is attractive!
Jacobs POV
The last 2 weeks I had been wearing long sleeves to cover my cuts, I usually do it everyday. As I walked outside I saw the most beautiful face I had ever seen.
"CARA!" I said. Running towards her, she seemed scared and confused, and I couldn't blame her. I lifted her into a hug while I spun her around.
"Ouch." She said.
"S..sorry..."
"I'm just so, so, glad that you're back."
Still silence.
The bus then arrived.
Cara's POV
"I'm just so, so, glad that you're back." He said.
Jacob was confusing me a lot right now, he beats me up but now he says he missed me. I just don't get it. As I walked onto the bus I saw Nathalia! I gave her a quick hug. I sat in the seat across from her because she was sitting with some new boy. Her boyfriend?
Then I heard a voice. It was Jacob.
"Do you mind if I sit next to you?"
"I..I guess not." I replied.
He then started to tuck a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Jacob what are you doing?"
"Nothing, sorry. I just got carried away."
Jacob was acting really weird today and I didn't get it. But at least it was better than him beating me up.
He sat behind me in each class like usual, but didn't kick me, or play with my hair. Something is definitely up.
