"This is not a joke, right?" A pink haired boy muttered under his breath, his face completely blank. He was sitting on a sofa beside a black-haired boy, the both of them were leaning against each other's body as if to gain a protection for the other.
"Certainly not," the black-haired boy replied, his voice came out as deep and rough.
"What are you two doing now? This is not the time to sulk around like this," a tall, brown-haired boy stood in front of the boys, admonishing them. Little did they know the guy was also kind of worried because of what happened earlier.
"Did we do a real bad thing to be punished like this? My mind can't process this properly, it's not logical," the black-haired boy complained, sitting up properly before closing his eyes.
"That's why I said think before you burn the school building, Yoongi," another boy appeared, standing beside the brown-haired boy with both of his hands on his waist. He was only joking, but his eyebrows were furrowed, as if he was holding himself back from murdering the boy in front of him. Or even his own self.
Yoongi opened his eyes, glaring at the boy, "It's not my fault alone, Jin."
"Let's stop joking, okay? Chill," the pink haired boy interrupted their heated conversation, as he stood up, hands in his pockets. "What are we going to do now? I'm seriously not gonna stay at school for a week straight, I need my daily dose of internet, and I don't want to die," he continued, looking at the 3 boys in front of him. "And where the flower is Jungkook, Taehyung and Hoseok hyung?"
"Here!" A voice chimed in, gaining their attention towards the door of the rooftop. The three troublemakers were standing there, a cheeky grin on their faces. Jungkook had his arm on Taehyung's shoulders. On the other hand, Hoseok was holding a funny-looking bread that actually kind of looked like his face.
"What's going on here?"
"Did you saw a horse shaped ghost or something?"
"Nochu coming through! Now explain one by one," Jungkook moved swiftly to sit beside the pink haired boy, Park Jimin. He pushed Yoongi aside, earning an annoyed glace from the black-haired boy. "Manners, boy."
"Nochu my ass," Yoongi murmured under his breath, only to get scolded by the mother of the group, Kim Seokjin. "No cursing here, young man. I didn't teach you stuff like that."
"We just got back from the student council room," Namjoon said, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.
"And then?"
"They knew about what we did."
Silence.
"You're kidding me, right? I mean, how-"
Taehyung's sentence was cut off by Namjoon, who said, "I'm not kidding, this is not a joke, I'm dead serious." He looked at Taehyung who was still trying to comprehend the shocking truth.
"And we have to stay at school for a week as a punishment," Yoongi added, letting out a long, heavy sigh.
"WHAT THE FRICK!"
"It's not even the best thing of this whole situation yet and your reaction is already so amusing," Yoongi laughed, which earned him glares from his friends. "Okay, chill."
"So, what's more shocking than this?" Hoseok chimed in, preparing himself for more unbelievable stuffs.
"We will be doing community services or whatever was it, I don't really remember. Then, we have to sleep at that abandoned class 3-F and we can't go out after 12 until the next morning."
Jungkook went silent.
Hoseok fainted.
Taehyung? Well, the boy was handling the situation better than they expected. He cried.
Class 3-F. The notorious tale of Seoul High.
5 years ago, all of the students in the class went missing. Even the tables and chairs. Empty. Seoul High went nuts, and the seven boys were traumatized since then. They were the only ones who saw what happened to the students of 3-F, and it was the most horrifying thing any humankind can handle.
Everyday, a new corpse appeared in the class with a note saying, "This is not the end." The boys already knew it wasn't. They knew that it will haunt the school anytime it wants, but they kept quiet. Because that was probably the thing that will satisfy the monster.
The deafening silence continued as the seven of them huddled around the sofa, no one dared to utter even a word. Each one of them knew about what will appear in their life, but do they want to welcome it? Of course not. The terrifying thought of spending their whole week at school was the only thing running in their minds. No one wanted to complain about that, because they knew. They knew that it was their fault.
Yoongi who had his eyes shut, opened them and said, "You know what? I don't care about what will happen. We're all in this together. Even if the possibility of me dying here is actually quite high, I'm happy that I'll be with you guys," the others were listening to him speaking, a tiny smile made their way on their faces, lifting up the mood again.
"Yeah."
