Hoseok woke up, finding himself in a white, empty room. He was lying on the floor, unable to even move a muscle. To say that he was afraid was an understatement. Words couldn't even describe how he was feeling.
His mind was in a frenzy state as he came up with millions of possibilities. Maybe something had kidnapped him and brought him to the place, or maybe someone saved him from dying and put him there to keep him away from the monster. The possibilities were endless, but Hoseok couldn't bare to think about what happened to Jungkook.
Seconds after he heard the laughter and cries in the hallway, he was pulled away from Jungkook by an unknown force. His body was weak as he was pinned against the wall of the hallway. Not long after, right before his own eyes, Jungkook started to weep and cry; the sound was torturing for Hoseok to hear but he had to. He just couldn't help it but to just listen to his beloved younger brother screaming in agony.
And then, he fainted.
His memory was still blurry, but he was sure that the image of Jungkook in the hallway wasn't just a stupid dream. It's just too real to be a dream.
Hoseok tried to stand up, but as pain stroke him from all over his body, the boy winced in agony and fell down to the floor again. His breathing was irregular; chest heaving as he tried to calm himself down.
His thoughts went to the other 5 boys. Are they okay? Are they worrying about me and Jungkook now?
"Or were we the ones who did this?" A sudden voice broke Hoseok's line of thoughts, chuckling slightly as the boy's eyes widened abnormally. His usual positive attitude was nowhere to be seen as his body trembled like an innocent child during a terrifying storm.
Hoseok's eyes followed the source of the sound, and his breath hitched. He furrowed his eyebrows as he questioned his own ability to see. Standing in front of him was the one and only Min Yoongi with a dangerous weapon in his right hand. Grinning like a mad man, he played with it like it was just some kind of a toy made for fun. Spinning it around, throwing it around, before pointing it to Hoseok.
"Good morning, sweetie," he snarled, the evil grin still on his usual sleepy face. The unusual expression on the black-haired boy scared Hoseok as he was sure that it wasn't his friend standing in front of him. Maybe a doppelganger, or maybe just someone disguising as the boy. He was sure of that because the Min Yoongi that he knew wouldn't even think of hurting his friends, let alone killing them.
"Who are you?" Hoseok let out a question for Yoongi's lookalike, feeling determined to unravel the true identity behind the facade. Unfortunately, he only earned a surprised gasp and a kick right at his stomach before getting the answer.
But it wasn't the answer that he was hoping for. Scratch that; it wasn't the answer that he was looking for from the boy who claimed himself as his friend, Yoongi.
"I'm your best friend, of course. Or maybe accepting the truth is just a little too hard for our little hope?" The lookalike pouted, and Hoseok almost fell for his trap. Because he really looked like Yoongi back there.
Shaking his head, he threw away the thought as he glared at the boy.
"Yoongi isn't a monster like you," his voice came out as weak and breathless, but his face showed the exact opposite of it. For the first time in forever, he could fight the thing that he has been afraid of, and it was all because of his friends.
And thinking of them gained him strength. Imagining their smiling faces and remembering their time together made him teary eyed. But he wiped it off as he looked at the boy in front of him.
That was when he was determined to crush the lookalike using his friendship's power. The level of trust he has for them couldn't even compare to his level of fear.
He stood up slowly, ignoring the pain he felt all over his body. His legs were wobbling, but he stabled them as he sensed a change of behavior in his opponent. Hoseok's eyes almost fell out of their sockets as Yoongi's face slowly changed into a more feminine face. The monster in front of him transformed into someone Hoseok knew very well. My sister.
And that made his blood boiled at the thought of someone bothering his sister who was laying unconscious in the ICU. She was struggling to continue her life, and seeing the monster transforming into his sister just managed to piss him off.
No one can get out alive after pissing off the one and only Jung Hoseok. Especially if they bothered his friends and family.
"Shocked now, aren't you? Let's see if you can punch your own sister," the boy winced as he heard his sister's voice coming out of the monster's vocal chord. He stood straight, warming up his body slowly as he prepared to beat the shit out of his 'sister'.
"Now let me teach you about siblings' love quarrel," Hoseok smirked, and lunged forward, his right hand was shaped into a fist. He swung his arm as hard as he can, letting out his full ability that not even his friends knew about.
A side which was a secret even to his own self. A side of him that even he didn't know about.
But as his fist was nearing the monster's head, Hoseok let out an exasperated groan as it vanished into thin air. The boy looked around him desperately, trying to find any kind of clue that will tell him the monster's whereabouts.
He did find one.
An extremely horrifying clue.
His head ached as the clue entered his line of sight. His knees buckled weakly, but he straightened his body again before walking towards what was grossing him out.
An old corpse with a pool of blood around it.
Hoseok felt like throwing up, but he threw away the thought as he examined the corpse closely. Where did I see that outfit before?
Before Hoseok could realize something was standing behind him, the monster hit his head, making a loud thud! sound.
Hoseok fell down.
His eyes were brimming with tears as he looked at the corpse, heart breaking as time passed by.
It was his sister's corpse, and she was smiling at him as if she was saying, "It's okay oppa, you did great. I'll always love you."
Hoseok slipped out of his consciousness, a face too familiar for him appeared beside the corpse.
It smirked.
"Don't trust anyone, not even those 6 guys you love so much. They might kill you someday, like what I'm doing right now," the monster with Yoongi's face snarled, it's body ripping into pieces.
Hoseok didn't believe the monster.
He didn't even hear its words.
