Chapter 12 - Flowerfell, Reaper, Handplates, Geno Sans, Flowey Possession (pt.2)

I strolled around Snowdin. The snow was light, and calming. Today, I just wanna get out of the house, and actually do something. If other versions of me can be productive, so can I!

I'm thinking of buying snacks for the Sans's, and then I'm going to drop by at Undyne's house to check up on Papyrus.

I walk by the Christmas tree in the center of Snowdin, and I can't help but smile. I mean...REALLY smile. Not my usual 'grin'. I like how even if it isn't even near Christmas, the tree still shines brightly, with lots of presents underneath.

After admiring the tree for a while, I walk to Snowdin's store. I buy a few cinnabunnies, with actual money. Sure, it cost a bit, but I only did it cause the store doesn't want me to have a tab. I exit the store with a shopping bag full of food, and a genuine smile. To bad something I overhear drains my happiness.

'Did you hear the news? Papyrus is going to fight the human soon!'

'Oh, really?! Hopefully the human spares him, otherwise he has no chance!'

'Yeah, humans are so unpredictable!'

I close my eyes, and slowly inhale, and exhale. It's gonna be okay! Everything is fine! I open my eyes and think for a while.

I need to make sure that Paps will be okay. I've been to busy with the Sans's to even see how the human acts. Oh my gosh I'm so stupid! Well...I can't take any chances...expecially not this time when I need him to be around to help me, when I wanted to show him all the stuff I've done, and how I want to help him cook, and train. I actually want to do SOMETHING with my life before it ends. I want to make Papyrus proud of me.

But I can't do that if the human takes him away from me. So, what if I...take the human away? I think about this thought for a while.

No! Papyrus was looking forward to a fight with the human! How could I explain that I killed the human, because he is to weak to kill them? What if I reason with the human? Would...would that work?

I teleport into the shop, and drop my shopping back. 'Take care of this for me,' I say, as I teleport to the house. Conveniently, the human is only a few steps away.

'Um...hey, kid,' I mumble. 'Can you do me a favor?' The human turns around, with a confused look.
'Oh, hi Sans,' The human says, coldly. 'What do YOU want?' It adds. I sigh before answering, 'I know you don't know me that well, cause I only talked to you once before, but I need you to spare my brother. Please,' I say. 'Look, half of me wants to kill him, and half of me doesn't. I do what I want, and a smiley trash bag can't stop me,' the human says, in an annoying tone. I flinch a little at her response.
'Fine then. But it won't just be Papyrus that you will be fighting,' I say.
'W-what?' The human says, suddenly worried. I don't reply, and I teleport back to the Christmas tree.

I suddenly burst out laughing. That's one way to take away a giant worry. I grab out my phone, and dial Papyrus's number.

'Hey bro,' I say.
'Hello brother!' Papyrus replies.
'Can I help you fight the human?' I ask. The silence inbetween his answer makes me nervous.
'Well of course brother! As long as you stay safe!' Papyrus says.
'Okay I will. Bye!'
'Bye brother!'

I hang up, and teleport to the shop, and grab my bags. 'Thanks,' I say, with a wink, to the shopkeeper, before teleporting away to my house. I open the door dramatically, as faces of alternate me's turn to me. 'I give you food!' I say, very loudly, as I put the bags on the ground. Before anybody could say anything, I teleport to where Papyrus is going to fight the human.

For some odd reason, I just so happened to teleport inbetween Papyrus and the human. 'Hai,' I say to Paps. 'Hello, brother! I hope you are ready to battle the human with me!' Papyrus says excitedly. I glace at the human. 'I sure am,' I say, as I walk over to stand next to Papyrus.

The fight starts, and Papyrus does his usual attacks. But the human doesn't fight back. What game are they playing at? I hit them with a single attack, and they loose 1 hp.

Eventually, the human spares Papyrus and I. After Papyrus talks to the human for a bit, and leaves, I ask the human some questions.

'Why did you spare him?' I ask. 'Do you really think I'm that stupid? I wouldn't even try hitting him when you're around. I know what you can do, and I've seen what you can do, and I don't want to live through it again. I don't think I'll even try Genocide anymore,' the human says. 'You've said that before,' I mumble. 'Look, if you EVER talk to me EVER again, don't be suprized to never see your brother again,' the human says, before walking off. Gosh, I hate humans.

I sigh, and teleport to my house, even though it could of been a very short walk. I open the door, and see all of the cinnabunnies gone, and all of the Sans's sleeping, even though it's 4:00pm. Oh well, I guess I've done worse.

I do a quick clean up, so when Papyrus comes back, he won't go off his head. Then I go and grab a few blankets, and lay them across all the sleeping me's. I smile, and make myself a hot chocolate. I've never had one before, but I somehow feel like one. I slurp it down in one gulp, and peacefully fall asleep.

Omg exactly 1000 words! I hope you enjoyed the longest chapter so far! If you're wondering why I wrote such a long chapter, it's because I took a break for nearly 2 months!
