Prologue: Just a Normal Day?

February 28, 2030.
Maizuru Naval Base, Japan

"......."
An huge explosion came out from the other side of the control panel that used to communicate and observe the situation in the battlefield.

A young girl's voice came out a moment after the explosion was heard.

".... Commander, enemy fleet was eliminated." Said my Secretary Ship named Fubuki.
"Well done. Now come back and have some rest."
"Yes sir."

Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Takeda Chiyuki, the current admiral of the Maizuru Naval Base.

I command the Kanmusu to fight the Abyssals. You don't know what is a Kanmusu. You also don't know what is an Abyssals.

Well, the Abyssal was a mystery creature that came out from nowhere. Normal methods will have no effect to them.

In order to fight back, Kanmusu was created. They might looked like a normal girl but they were capable to fight the Abyssals.

"Sir, the higher ups had called you just now. They said they want to have a video meeting with you." Said Ooyodo who in charges of controlling the panel.
"Ok."

I left the room and headed towards my office.

Truth to be told, I never wanted to become a navy soldier not to mention to become an admiral.

The reason I became a navy soldier was my father.

He was a great man before. Whether as a father, a husband or an admiral.

I used the word 'before' not because he wasn't a great person anymore, it's because he was not in this world anymore.

He always did his best in his works and in his family. And I wanted to become someone like him so I became a navy soldier.

I still remember what the looks he had when I told him. Only happiness shown on his face.

And what it really turned me into an admiral that command the shipgirls was that incident happen 5 years ago.

That incident really turned my world upside down.

But now it's turning back to normal now. Though we still in the battlefield, we still able to defend against the Abyssal.

I truly enjoy these normal days I spent with the Kanmusu. They were just like my family. Though all of them were girls.

"... I am here. So what's the matter?"
I opened the large television as soon as I came inside my office.

The television was usually used by the destroyer. It was big and it will make you wonder what's the reason to have some television this big in an admiral's office.

As soon as I spoke those words, I was hoped that I can reverse the time.

The man inside the television was not happy. Really unhappy.

"...." He remained unspoken.
"...." So did I.

"Chiyuki, this is a formal meeting so...." The man who sat beside the very unhappy man spoke to me.

"I'm sorry. Admiral Takeda Chiyuki reporting in." I saluted to him

Yep, that very unhappy man is my superior and trust me... You didn't want to make him mad.

He did a gesture of telling me to sit down.

"I will directly move into the main subject. The Okinawa has fallen to Abyssals' hand and we believe that this time, Southern War Princess will be the lead of the fleet."

The news shocked me greatly. Okinawa, one of the 47 prefecture of Japan has fall. But the one that shocked me even greater was that Southern War Princess, murderer of my parents is the lead of the fleet.

5 years ago, the time that humanity faced the greatest threat ever. I can still remember the scene that my comrades died in the war. Blood and bodies everywhere.

I was totally despair that time. But my father and my mother didn't. They kept fighting back. Even though it was no use.

They saved me that day. And that scene will always remained in my head.

I was the only one alive that day. I am the only who was saved. All comrades in Maizuru Naval Base died.

".... So need you to get prepare to fight them and take back the Okinawa." His index finger pointed towards me.

"To make your operation more easier, we will send the commander of the new organization, Katsuo Masaru in the AAT Force on 25 March 2030. That's all for today."

"Wait..."
Before I got a chance to ask any question, the scene has turned black.

AAT Force, huh?

I heard that they used advance technologies to fight the abyssals... Does their technologies affect the Southern War Princess?

I guess we will have some training now...

Katsuo Masaru, right? I wonder why this name is so familiar to me... Did I hear it before?

But... On top of that, I want to rub that old man's face with using sandpaper.

Damn OLD MAN!!! WHY YOU ALWAYS LIKE THAT!?

Anyway, this story was actually CommanderAAT idea.

This story will be my first collaboration with him.

There will be two story with same plot but different P.O.V.. One is Maizuru Base's P.O.V. and another will be AAT's P.O.V..

And attention! This story will not have any connection with our stories.

To make it simple, just consider it as side story.
