It was a long day in the medicine cat den. It was the middle of leaf - bare. Graystripe, Dustpelt, BumblePaw,Dovepaw,Cloudtail,Thornclaw,and y/n had white cough,hopefully not, but soon to be green cough. It was hard to see y/n suffer with white cough. He winced as he thought about it." H-hey jay-" y/n said but was interrupted by a round of coughing. "Dont talk." Jayfeather said,in a gentle,warm, and caring voice. He heard a snarl behind him. It was Lionblaze. Couldnt he talk to her without being watched by his brother?
Y/n POV
Oh, she desperately wanted to talk to Jayfeather,but he said it would make it worse..."dont talk." He said "it'll only make it worse! If you want to talk, say something in your mind,I'll read it." He looked at
Y/n with kind,caring,and sightless eyes. She relized she couldnt say anything aboit how she likes him. She was sure he diddnt like her.
"You like me!?" Jayfeather said.
"You weren't supposed to know that!!" Y/n said
"You shouldnt be so shy.; I like you too. Plus you should of guessed...i can read your mind...so....."Jayfeather said. You blush slightly.
You ignore the last part, you were to shocked tohave known what he said "Y-you do!?" You ask, slightly embarrassed.
"I do, but I thought you liked Lionblaze!"jayfeather said, flattening his ears.
" NO! he likes me! Isnt it obvious!? Its so akward around him." You say as you shuffle your paws shyly. Jayfeather doesnt say anything, he just licks your ear. You blush.
"I love you y/n" Jayfeather said.
"I love you too, jayfeather" you say licking his nose in an affectionate way.
