Hi admirers. If you don't know who I am then you are probably living under a rock.
I am Jake Hartford the best high schooler in the world. I am devastatingly handsome which makes all the girls swoon and some guys too.
But I've got my eyes on one girl.
Annabeth Jackson.
Annabeth is my match made in heaven.
With her honey blonde hair, stunning gray eyes, and tanned skin she is what every guy wants.
Basically the full package and she's totally my type.
Today I am gonna ask her out first thing.
I am 100% sure she will say yes.
The only thing I have to do was show around this new kid.
As I was walking to the principals office to get the new kid I became more and more eager to become Annabeth's boyfriend, I bet she will be overjoyed to become my girlfriend I mean who wouldn't be.
I walked in and saw this guy that made me gay for 5 seconds.
He had a muscular build,( like mine ) messy black hair that looked it hadn't been brushed in ages, tan skin, and his best trait, his sea green eyes.
"Hi I'm new here are you Jake Hartford."he asked me.
"Uhh yeah I'm supposed to be showing you around, what is your name?" I asked him.
"Percy Jackson"he answered.
That was Annabeth's last name too, wow Jackson is a popular last name.
"Ok well then what is your locker number" I asked him.
"89" he said.
Annabeth's locker is 90.
"Lucky, you got the locker next to the hottest girl in Goode." I said to him.
"Oh yeah who might that be?" he asked.
"Why Annabeth Jackson" I said pointing to her.
He grinned.
"But don't even think about it she turns down all the guys because she's waiting for me so back off." I said seriously.
"Oh ok got it." He said still grinning.
"Okay it looks like you got Greek first go put your stuff in your locker and Greek is over there" I told him.
"Ok" he said then walked away.
This is my chance I'm done showing Percy around and Annabeth reading a book by herself.( she is such a nerd, but still hot.)
Just as walked up I saw Percy walking towards her.
Oh no he didn't!
"Hey wise girl" Percy said.
Annabeth jumped then turned around her blonde hair flying behind her.
"SEAWEED BRAIN?!!" She said excitedly.
Then Percy kissed her on the lips.
He. Freaking. Kissed. Her.
Then they hugged.
I thought I made it clear that she was mine and how did she even know that guy!
"GET AWAY FROM MY SOULMATE!" I yelled pulling Annabeth away from him.
Percy punched me in the face.
" HOW BOUT YOU GET AWAY FROM MY FIANCÉ!" He yelled back.
Wait, hold up. Fiancé?
But that couldn't be possible, we where only eighteen.
BAM, it hit me. Jackson wasn't a popular last name, they where engaged!
Wow that is really young, but why! :(
"Go away Jake and never talk to me or Percy again we never want to see your face again."Annabeth commanded her gray eyes, which where deadly serious.
My heart was shattered, my crush not only hated me, she was engaged.
They walked away together holding hands.
I was crushed.
Then a hot girl walked past me.
I didn't feel to bad anymore.
And that was how I met percabeth.

2020 update: guys I know this makes no sense. Don't ask me why I changed her last name I honestly couldn't tell you. I wrote this when I was 10. I'm honestly surprised this many people have even read this book 😳. But I am grateful 4 all of you guys. If you come across anything that doesn't make sense- I'm sorry I don't even understand either.
