I woke up when someone hit my side hard. I opened my eyes and Zayne was leaning over me. "There's someone in the den" he whispered while I looked at him confused. I heard branches snap and I jumped to my feet. Snarling I ran out of my den Zayne at my heels. "Who there?!" I yipped and realized there was more than one fox in the area. "Damen and Ross got a problem with that?!" Damen asked. I instantly knew them. Ramen and Ross the neighborhood tough foxes. Well they've never met Kodak on winter. "Zayne see the taller red fox?" I whispered to Zayne and he nodded. "You take that one I'll take the grey fox" I told him and we both nodded. I lunged at Ross and took a rough hold on his scruff biting down hard. Ross yelped and thrashed desperately trying to get away. "Well if it isn't Kodak the sweetheart again? Remember last winter when you faced us?" Damen asked getting ready to lunge at me. Zayne came out of no where and pinned Damen to the ground. "Sweetheart? As if dorks" I snarled growing angrier with every word. "Last winter was my first winter alone I'm sorry if I was a little uneasy and untrained" I snarled into Ross. "Now leave Snake hearted cowards!" I barked letting them go and they ran with their tails tucked under.
