" What seems to be wrong " A soft lulling voice was heard from behind Mil, and as he turned around he saw a man with eyes deep as the sea, and hair long and silky, creating waves in the colors of zenith and welkin blue. He had a soft smile on his face, as he stepped closer to Mil, wrapping him in a warm embrace. " Oh, how truly adorable you are... My little followers weren't lying when they told me a beautiful individual had entered the mansion. Of course, Caelum is beautiful in one sense, but you, my dearest, are truly an alluring feast to the eyes of many. " The unknown person gently moved his fingers through Mil's midnight black hair, entranced by it's silky sensation.

" Oh, oh! My apologies, small one. I must have scared you with my unruly behavior. " Looking up to the man, Mil felt a soothing sensation washing over him, as he shook his head. " It's fine! Uncle Eques already messed up my hair pretty badly when he ruffled it, and being hugged like this brings warmth to both of us, doesn't it? " A warm smile spread across the man's face as he nodded, holding Mil even closer to himself. " Oh, how truly innocent you are, small one. " Mil could hear a soft beating of a heart, and as he closed his eyes, he felt like he could stay like this forever. Then he remembered he had a job to do. " I'm sorry mister, but I need to deliver this letter to the Fairy Prince of Nymphalem and if I don't Eques will be mad at me! " He pulled away from the man's arms and then ran away.

As Mil started to look for a person fitting the image of 'Faerie Prince Of Nymphalem' the person he had met earlier started to seem more and more fitting for it. Out of this world presence, beautiful features and a weird way of addressing Mil as 'small one'. Well, he knew he wasn't probably the tallest one around here, but calling him small of all things! " Humph- If I meet that person again I'll give them a piece of my mind! "  Puffing his cheeks slightly, Mil started to storm forward, but then started to slow down, realizing that he was completely lost. Looking around, he noticed that the walls were completely hidden behind tree roots, and there were all sorts of small faeries, animals and birds living in small houses attached to the roots. " .. Um. Could anyone help me? I got lost, and I need to deliver a letter to the faerie prince. "

A small faerie then quickly flew to Mil, settling down on his head. " I can show you the way Mil! I know where the faerie prince is! " The small faerie petted Mil's head, as he then pointed forward. " Okay then, let's go! " Mil smiled brightly, as he held his hand high up in the air in a fist, starting to march proudly forward. And soon the two found themselves near a waterfall, of all things. And the only way across the river running across the corridor was an old tree that had fallen to it's side, creating a path over the river. " the faerie prince lives over the river, under the one thousand year old oak tree! " The small faerie explained, as Mil nodded softly, starting to slowly go across the river.

" Who dares to cross our river? " From the water rose transparent, human-like figures made out of water, water nymphs as one would call them, standing in the middle of the tree. " M-.. Me, Mil. I was given the task to deliver a letter to the faerie prince, and I can not stop until I have fulfilled that task! " Mil proudly exclaimed, taking a step forward. " And you dare to cross our river just to fulfil that task of yours? " One of the nymphs asked. " Yes, I dare! I need to fulfil my task, as that task is the reason why I asked for this faerie to help me. " He then gave a soft smile. " Is it okay with you all that I cross your river to fulfil my task? It is an important task for me, as important as your river is to you. "

The nymphs thought about it for a while as one of them then walked close to Mil, giving him a pedant in the shape of a teardrop. " Your pure soul has made our decision positive towards you, Mil. Take this, and call for us near water if you ever need help, and we shall come for you. " The nymphs then faded away, with soft smiles on their faces. " Now let's continue! I still need to deliver this letter! " Mil put the pendant on as he then walked across, noticing the twisted and old looking oak tree in the distance. " that's where the faerie prince lives, Mil! You're almost there! " The small faerie giggled softly as he patted Mil's head a few times. Nodding, Mil made his way to the tree, looking around. " Faerie prince! Faerie prince! where are you? I have a letter for you! "

As Mil looked around, he noticed how there were crystals in various colors on the ground, and on the tree, glowing softly, as they lighted up the room they were in. He also noticed a few books lying here and there, some were open and some stacked in the branches. The place was astonishingly beautiful, and Mil found himself now sitting down on the ground, enjoying the scenery around him. The faerie had fallen asleep, so he gently took it off from his head, settling him down on a soft grassy patch. Mil gently touched one crystal that was near him, and it felt warm to the touch, as if he was touching a living thing. It wouldn't be a surprise if the crystals were alive.

A soft giggle was then heard, as the person Mil had earlier on met slowly floated down from the higher branches. " I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to introduce myself earlier on, little one. I am the faerie prince, Lumen Somnium Aqua is my name, but you can call me just Lumen. " He gently sat down in front of Mil, reaching his hand out. " May I now get my letter, small one? " Mil panicked slightly as he then pulled the letter out of the small bag next to him, giving it to Lumen. " Here you go! I'm sorry I ran away from you earlier on, I didn't mean to be rude, but I didn't want to take too much time in completing my task."

" And why is that? Do you not perhaps like your task? Or do you have something else to do? " Lumen asked, curiosity filling him. " Ah, no no! In fact, I love my task even though this is the first time i've been given a task to do! But I didn't want to keep you, the one receiving the letter waiting too long. "  Lumen nodded, feeling satisfied by Mil's answer as he then opened the letter, starting to read it. " You can stay here and read a few books if you want, small one. There is no hurry for you to leave. " And with that, Mil nodded, taking up one book, settling down comfortably as he started to read, slowly dozing off with a soft and proud smile on his face. And sleeping calmly there, he had completely forgot to ' give a piece of his mind ' to Lumen. But that isn't such a bad thing to forget now, isn't it.
