A New Friend, New Protector

I ended up skipping the rest of school because I was scared of what people would say. Mostly Macy, she would understand. I asked Josh to take me home because I didn't want to worry my mom anymore than she would have. You know how mothers are. They know best. We sat silently in his car as we started to dive away from the school. He owned a 1970 Chevelle. Kinda impressive for us being seniors. I didn't live very far so we ended up driving around the block several times. "Are you going to be okay?" He asked me raising an eyebrow not looking away from the road. "Y-yeah I think so." I replied softly feeling embarrassed for having him drive me home. I noticed he scrunched his eyebrows a bit. "I don't like that answer Lulu." I blushed as he called me Lulu. "Its Lucy not Lulu." I replied softly and looked over at him. He smirked slightly at remark. "I can call you princess, babe, sweetie, should I go on?" He snickered as I blushed deeply. "N-no!" I pouted slightly and I pointed out my house to him. We pulled up to the driveway and he pressed the locks. "Give me your phone." He says looking at me. I looked at him and passed him my phone. "If you ever need me, I will only be a text or a phone call away." He says as he programed his number into it and called his phone so he has mine. "I'll see you tomorrow. I'll pick you up." He smiled as he handed me back my phone. I smiled slightly and exited his car waving goodbye to him. As he drove away, I looked at what he saved himself as. "Protector."

Later that night I got out of a shower and looked at my phone. It read Message "Protector." I smiled slightly and picked up the phone as I was drying my hair with a towel.
(Protector): Hey Princess how are you holding up? :P
(Lulu): Funny Josh, But I'm getting through the night. Not feeling well. ):
(Protector): Whats wrong?
(Lulu): Just feeling weak that's all. Nothing to worry about I promise.
(Protector): Ok, So do you need protecting tomorrow from that douche?
I smirked knowing who he was talking about.
(Lulu): No, I'll just try to avoid him. Besides I can handle him. :p
(Protector): Riight... Like you did today with tears falling from your pretty face.
(Lulu): I promise I will be okay, Ill text you if anything happens okay?
(Protector): Alright Lulu, Well its getting late I'll pick you up in the am.
(Lulu): Alright, goodnight Josh. See you tomorrow. 7am.
(Protector): I'll be there 7am. Night princess.

I smiled at my phone and looked at the clock. 11:45pm. I got up and walked to my closet. I pushed a few shirts aside and found a plain black skin tight tee, a red checkered flannel and I started to go through my jeans. I found a pair that were faded with a few holes on the knees and on the thigh. I smiled at the outfit of choice and placed it by my mirror so I can get up and get dressed. I placed all the makeup I wanna wear next to the clothing. satisfied I walked back to my bed and flopped backwards. I cant wait for tomorrow...
