The New Boy.

She Maybe Right

I woke up that morning with mix feelings. "Its my second day back and I am more nervous than the first. Mostly because of my boyfriend making a huge scene about the new boy talking to me. Then skipping class to cry alone in the bathroom stall. Running into the new boy and skipping the rest of the day because I was scared. I don't know maybe she is right. By she I mean my BFF Macy. She said this new boy was going to be bad news but did I listen? No. I did not so I guess I kinda deserve what came to me. But what if Rick finds out that the new boy, I mean Josh, finds out he took me home and was texting me? Maybe I should change his name in my phone to be safe." I thought to myself. I reached for my phone and opened it up to Josh's contact. 'Protector.' I shook my head and changed it to 'Macyy.' "There that should do." I smiled to myself and got up and started to get ready. I slipped on my outfit and smiled. Then decided to do my hair in a cute side sweep and put on some makeup. I looked at the clock. 6am. I started to text Josh.

(Lulu): Hey Josh, Can you come get me now?

I waited for a response. Then a few seconds later.

(Macyy): Yeah, why this early?

(Lulu): Just don't want Rick to get mad at you because you are taking me into school you know. :\

I sighed more and walked to the kitchen where my mom was making breakfast."Morning mom!" I smiled at her "Good morning my Lucy Q." My mother smiled and noticed my outfit. " She raised an eyebrow as I sat down grabbing a piece of toast. "Dressing up for Rick?" She asked as she finished cooking. I looked up at her and shook my head. "No, I just wanted to get dressed up since I missed out on the first week of school where everyone shows off the new outfits." I smiled a bit and she smiled. "Well, whatever the reason may be you look fantastic." She said as she laid out eggs, bacon and toast. My phone buzzed and made me jump. Mom looked up at me scrambling to grab my phone and snickered softly.

(Macyy): Yeah give me a few and I'll be over. Be ready soon babe :p

(Lulu): Ill be ready. Just honk your horn so I know your here.

I blushed and put my phone away as I ate breakfast. "Please take it easy for me ok?" Mom looked at me with concern. I nod my head as I finished eating cleaning the table. A horn honked out front and mom looked up at the door. "You got a ride?" She asked. "Y-yeah a new friend I made at school yesterday." I smiled and she did to. "Maybe you will introduce me to them soon?" She asked and I nod my head. "I promise." I say as I kiss her cheek and walked out the door.
