I sat up a little and thought about going through with it. I needed to.
I gently pressed my lips against his neck for a second and he shuddered a little bit and turned to face me.
Very slowly he ran his hand up my side until it reached just below my chest.
He seemed to play along now, kissing me lightly and holding me close to him.
I started to unbutton my shirt and his hand stopped me before I reached the fourth button.
"No April, I can't do this." he said letting go of my hand.
I looked at him confused and he just shook his head.
I didn't know what happened but... I disobeyed him and finished undoing my top and he couldn't hold himself back.
Gerard kissed my neck all the way up to my mouth and then begged entry.
He kissed me for a while until I tried too unbutton his jeans.
He once again took my hand and told me 'no'.
This time he meant it though and buttoned his pants again and we fall asleep.
It was hard to fall asleep that night. The hardest part though was my constant thoughts fighting each other. In order to function properly though, I knew I needed to pick a side. The sides being; Take it slow before you ruin this relationship, Don't stay with Gerard and just ask Frank for a chance, or just say fuck life and pick neither. Which one to pick, I didn't know. How ever I found it the next day.
I opened an closed my eyes adjusting to the one bright light in the bunk and soon saw Gerard was texting.
I laughed and h definitely noticed.
"Rise and shine!" He encouraged.
"Rise if I must... shine I cannot and will not tolerate!" I said groggily.
"Someone didn't sleep well," Gerard said raising his eyebrows.
"I'm just not a morning person," I admitted.
"I can see..." that he mumbled.
He closed his phone and attempted to fix up his hair quickly finding it was knotted.
"Fuck commercials and their actors who get out of bed with perfect hair.., and makeup..." Gerard said rubbing eyeliner off of his face.
I stifled a giggle as he looked down at me.
He seemed to have forgotten the night and seemed composed and some what happy... ish...
He pecked me on the lips and somehow read my mind.
"I didn't forget about last night. I just figured you should know now before you start jumping to conclusions,"
"Conclusions?" I asked.
"...Yeah , didn't you ever take reading class in elementary school?" He asked sarcastically.
"That's not what I meant and you know it!" I said rolling my eyes.
"yes I do!" He winked.
He got out of the bunk and I sighed.
Got rid of one secret just to come upon another one!
These guys were way to fond of surprises. it was unbearable.
I got out of the bunk a few minutes later to be blinded by the morning sun and was greeted by the guys acting like ten year olds.... Not that this was unusual or anything.
