Chapter 3:Why?

I started to sob as I stood there seeing my one and only Chris with another girl. At first I told myself it's just that evil witch Mrs.Willcox but when they started to kiss my heart stopped. How and why would Chris the sweetest and most honest person I know do this to me. I watched as the girl left the room. Chris came to the window and opened it he had a smile on his face and was staring at the moon light sky until he look down and saw the one and only me. His face turned bright red with sadness when he saw me I was still standing there sobbing my eyes out. I saw as Chris ran to the stairs to his house he was coming outside! I bolted around the corner where his house was until I found an old ally. I hid behind a garbage bin as I heard him call out my name. I sat there alone and scared for about two hours. Why? Is all I asked myself. Why would Chris do this to me? Why would he lie about loving me? After an hour all of those thoughts left my head and I started to think about how tired and hungry I was. All I wanted right now was a big mac meal from mcdonalds. I sat there for another hour and then another one went by and another. I know what you're thinking call my parents right? I would you now if I had a cell phone. And I know what you're thinking now how do I know what time it is? Let me think uh duh I own a watch. I sat there in there wondering if my family would come find me. Once again I already know what you're thinking just walk home. Sadly when I was running from Chris I took a weird turn and ended up getting lost. So I sat there until the sun rise my eyes fall heavy and everything went dark.

I must have fallen asleep because when I woke up it was morning and someone was shaking me awake. When I opened up my eyes all I could see was Chris. His face was red with tears streaming down his face and a half way smile appear on his face when my eyes opened. He hugged me but I just pushed him off of me remembering what had happened this morning. His smile dropped and I looked at my watch to see what time it was. 1:00 p.m.!! I had slept the day away in a cold and dark ally. I looked up at Chris to see he had bags under his soft brown eyes. He didn't get a wink of sleep. But then again how would he have anyway he would have been all over his new girlfriend. He looked at me and all I said was the question that had been ringing through my head all day. "Why?"
