It was dawn, Natalia was waiting on the fence. Still in her invisible state, watching the police rope off her section of the boardwalk.

"Aye!" Natalia heard a familiar voice behind her and looked back. "What's going on?" It was the Irish kid, his hands fiddling with the POLICE tape. "None of your concern. Go back home." One of the officers said taking a step towards him. Natalia got closer to look at the name of the officer's uniform. 'Officer Calabre' it read. "Can't you tell me?" He asked, practically begging to know. "No, it's well- erm- too dangerous." "Hmph." Hm. So Calabre was Irish boys father huh? "Son, I don't want to make a scene, I'll tell you tomorrow." "Tonight?" "Fine." Officer Calabre stepped towards his son. "Just, I also don't want you going outside alone anymore." He said, bowing his head with a frown. "Wait what? Why not?" The boy said, his freckled cheeks puffing out. "It's just-it's just not safe anymore." The boy chuckled a bit as Natalia stared into his green-brown eyes. "Yeah, sure dad. I'm off!" Calabre hurdled over the 'POLICE CROSSING' tape and placed a hand on his son's shoulder, spinning his around to face him. "Asher...I'm being completely serious." He said as Natalia sat on the concrete. So his name is Asher? Well, you learn something new everyday! "Wait...seriously?" Calabre nodded. "You have to tell me what happened when we get home, dad!" Asher looked slightly excited, a glint in his eye. "I-" Calabre thought for a moment, then slowly nodded. "Sure." He said as Asher trotted away. Natalia would've followed but she couldn't leave the barrier so, yeah.

The problem was, once you die, you have the choice of Heaven or Hell. Well, depending on what you did in your life-span. Sometimes though, you get stuck because of certain situations. Like a suicide, you're not going to Hell. But you can't be assured you're going to Heaven either. So you're just physically and spiritually stuck. Or if you're an atheist, but you never broke God's law. You just get physically and spiritually stuck. So, there's a certain barrier you must remain in when you die. It also has to be near where you died. So if you died on the top floor, first bedroom of your house. You'd only be aloud to explore the top floor. So it gives you a bit more space to explore, but not by much. Natalia, could only explore the upper-left quadrant of the boardwalk. Which was basically the lookout, a dock for some boats, and a food court. So there wasn't much to it. But Natalia was content with it, she wasn't angered, she wasn't too happy or sad about it. She was just content with it. Natalia closed her eyes and took a deep breath, knowing not many people were here. So, she made herself visible. Natalia walked to the edge of her barrier line and smiled, seeing the Irish boy, or Asher rather, was standing there, talking to some male.

"Hey!" Natalia called as Asher swerved his head. "Oh hey!" He said with a smile, then it quickly fading as he yelled. "What in lords name are you doing in there?!" He asked aggravated. "Pardon my yelling." He said, even though Natalia knew he probably didn't mean it. "I was well- you see I- I got lost." Natalia said nodding, as if agreeing with her answer. "Well," Asher rushed over to Natalia whispering in her ear. "You're not supposed to be over there! C'mon we can jog and talk yeah?" He said, holding out a hand for her. "I-I can't, why don't we er jog tomorrow okay?" She asked, nervous of his reply. "Okay but you have to get out of there before you get-" A voice interrupted Asher, as Natalia heard footsteps behind her. She plucked the 'POLICE CROSSING' tape with her index finger and cringed at the touch she felt on her shoulder. Quickly, her body vanished to the three visible men. "Wait...Hello?" Asher said leaning over to where Natalia had just been. "Oh my...it seems we've met someone." The male behind Asher said. Asher grinned and glanced at the male behind him. They both eyed each other. "Dad, I'll be over at Patrick's today." Asher: still keeping a grin on his face, turned away. "Bye Mr Calabre!" The male referred to as Patrick said, as Asher and him trotted off. "Okay, be good boys!" Calabre said, sighing and looking up at the sky. "I wonder if that's the rumor everyone seems to be talking about since we moved here." He muttered, "The ghost of Natalia Brown..." With that, he simply walked away, back to the scene of the crime.
