Wake Up - Eden
Normal POV
Hours had passed since the Nether ruler brought Steve into the E.R.
Hours had passed since he stay seated in the waiting room, for any update of how he was doing.
"A-Ahem...Um...Sir?" A timid nurse called for him making him instantly snap his head towards her, eager for any news, hoping they would all be good.
"Steve is alright now-" Herobrine stood up, his face hopeful as he cut her off.
"When will he be allowed to be discharged?" The look on her face made his own features fall.
"He um...He's in a coma Sir...a-and the doctors aren't sure when he'll wake up...if he will wake up" She swallowed and bowed her head but the demon stood there.
"The... uh...Head injury he received made him lose a lot of blood, but he pulled through the surgery, he just...he slipped under and is being monitored now, you're allowed to see him" A small barely unnoticeable whisper of agreement came from him and the two walked down the hall, rounding a corner to a dull light room.
Herobrine froze at the doorway seeing the human he held dear to him in such a feeble looking stance.
Steve had his head wrapped, his cut lip now stitched closed and the bruises on his face made him nearly unrecognizable.
Anger swelled deeply into the Nether ruler's being, he let out a shaky breath, cursing to the ones who did this and called to a ruthless beast who could rid of them while he stayed put with his human.

"C'mon Hero! The night is wonderful, let's take a walk" Steve whined to the older male as the two laid on the couch.
"Weren't you just complaining that your ass still hurted?" Herobrine sneered jokingly and nuzzled into the humans neck, humming as he sniffed his unique musk.
"Sitting around won't make it anymore bearable for next time" Steve blushed and folded his arms, looking away from his lover.
"Next time? You want to go all night again?" Herobrine smiled, pleased at how flustered the younger man was when he faced him.
"I-I mean um...O-Only if you want...?" Steve jumped as Herobrine stood with a smile.
"Put some clothes on Stevie! We're taking a stroll!" As cute as he was being, Steve continued to glare at him.
"Of course..."

"Oh Steve..." Herobrine muttered, sitting in the chair next to the bed, sorrow filling him next to his anger the more he looked at him, silently begging to see those luring blue eyes once again.
The nurse had passed by the door multiple times, surprised to see the supposed demon acting so tame like this. It certainly was a sight to see as he was just silently staring at the human in bed.
She shook her head and continued with the night check ups, letting her thoughts ease as she went to work.
"I should've said no..." Herobrine whispered, inching forward to lightly press his forehead against the unconscious man.
"If I said no...you wouldn't be like this...we'd be sleeping right now" It pained his heart as he squeezed Steve's hand, getting no response at all.
