Naruto sighed in front of him was the third Hokage sarutobi hiruzen also know as his Jiji not by blood but everyone knew of the twos close relationship and no one questioned it. anyway, who was smoking a pipe and listening to Kakashi's embellished story on the wave.

Basically, he was saying how sasuke and Sakura did great while he struggled and did very little. then it came to the part of were he killed gato and his thugs with him implying that Naruto should be watched for safety reasons. Yeah right and just when he thought he was going to respect the jonin he does this what an eye-opener.

When the story was finished hiruzen had an emotionless expression on his face as he looked at Naruto and Zabuza and Haku,

"and mind explaining Kakashi why one mist nuke-nin and his partner is here you failed to tell me that part" before Kakashi could say anything naruto said

"I told them I would talk to you about letting them stay you should their alright in my books considering what I am now" hiruzen looked at the blonde boy for a moment

Now let it be know Naruto was an excellent judge of character. Since his life was hell he learned who and who not to trust and who and who not was a straight bastard.

It's been a running thing that if konoha wanted to know if someone was a spy all they would need to do was let Naruto talk to the man or woman for about a few minutes no tourturing or anything.

So if he said that Zabuza and Haku were good people then they were without a doubt so the old Hokage nodded and reached into his desk and pulled out two papers. He signed them and handed Zabuza and Haku who sign them.

"for now I'm sorry to say that you Zabuza will have to be on a one month probation period due to your past employment mist sorry," said the Hokage as he sleds the paper to Zabuza

"Haku you my dear, on the other hand, can begin work immediately." He said as he took a poof of his pipe the tobacco smell filling the room

"Since technically you don't belong to mist even though your clan was." seeing the confused looks he sighed and tilted the Hokage hat on his head it was a tough crown to bear but it was a crown nonetheless.

"Allow me to explain since they were nearly wiped out by the mist and you being the last one. It comes with special powers and rights" he says as he notices Naruto, Zabuza and Haku nodding they were beginning to understand the circumstances

"Your technically your clan's matriarch now and with that comes political powers I'm guessing you are cutting ties with them I'm guessing and joining Konoha" Haku nodded

"Good now than being Konoha's Allie means the standard things of helping us during our wars and defense but being our Allie means one thing" Haku looked at the Hokage with a raised eyebrow

"You fall under the CRA-" he was stopped by Zabuza slamming his hand onto the desk causing three Anbu to pop out of nowhere and point their swords at his neck while in the background Sasuke was smiling

"There is no way I will let my daughter be breeding stock it will be over my dead body and yours I don't care if your a Hokage or not I will kill you and then what happens after that happens" said the silent assassin giving off killer intent the Hokage himself was unphased but everyone else except Naruto and the Anbu and Haku were shivering
