Nates pov

She was broken telling me everything from him cheating, leaving her and to her having to pay the rent because he was "always at work" but she is getting the house... well she hopes.

She's so broken it's scary to know I did this to her once.

She fell asleep after about an hour and a half of crying and explaining so I put her in my room and I slept on the couch... I know why don't you sleep with her she needs it. I'm not sure she is ready to anything yet but I'll slowly make it up to her.

Averys pov

I woke up in a bedroom that's not mine realising it's Nates but I didn't find him next to me. Strange. I went downstairs to find him on the couch so I leaned down and pecked his cheek and whispered
