With the help of the Fallen, Lucifer had created a word of chaos without ever leaving the Cage.
Fallen angels watched Eden, the paradise God had made for the first two humans in existence.
When Lucifer got word of Eden, his jealousy and rage grew. God made them a paradise! He gave humans a paradise! It was distasteful!
Lucifer noted their bliss and serenity, his they did as they were told with pride and praised God for such wonders and life.
It reminded Lucifer of Michael. And all be wanted to see was their pain and downfall.
From that trickery and hate, grew a snake of such evil and devious intentions. It travelled to Eden, where he slipped unnoticed by the gatekeeper of Eden, Hadarniel, and to the tree of Jophiel.
Jophiel had never seen such an evil creature, and believed it to be a sign of a bad future. He tried to be rid of it, but no minor angel could get rid of an archangel's power with ease. Unable to get rid of the creature, he called upon Adam and Eve.
"You are not to eat the fruit of this tree," he instructed them, eyeing the coiling snake in a top limb. "To do so would be sin and devious."
Adam and Eve promised.
With them under control, Jophiel called upon his brother, Chamuel, the dark angel, to find the source of such evil.
Chamuel recognized the powers to be of three angels. With its ability to take rest in the Tree of Knowledge, the snake had the power of Penemue, the fallen angel of forbidden knowledge. With it having slipped past Hadarniel without it being witnessed, it had the power of Hayy, the fallen and always wandering angel. And with such power and evil, it was created by none other than Lucifer.
Jophiel tried his best to rid of the snake, even calling upon his two brothers Af and Azrael, two angels of death, to try and slay the creature.
It wasn't until the day Penemue showed her face to Hadarniel that Jophiel left the snake without any supervision.
Penemue raised her arms in surrender. "I wish only to speak, brothers of mine. I bring word of Lucifer."
The snake spoke to Eve, telling her of the glorious fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. "Just one bite. Jophiel won't notice. He's not there, now."
"What does the Devil wish to say?" Hadarniel asked.
Eve took a fruit. It was ripe and plump, perfect compared to those she and Adam were allowed to eat.
"He's says that he wins."
Eve took a bite. She convinced Adam to take a bite as well.
"What do you mean, Penemue! He's locked away!" Jophiel yelled.
The snake coiled to a ball, dying. Its job had been done, and its three creators knew.
"There is sin within those two humans," Penemue said. She turned and disappeared.
Jophiel flew to Adam and Eve, who were now hiding away behind bushes and leaves, ashamed of their nudity. He saw the half eaten fruit and the dead snake.
With a heavy heart, Jophiel called upon Gabriel. "Lucifer has placed sin into Adam and Eve." The archangel looked at the two, freshly clothed humans. He couldn't help but think that Lucifer was right to disapprove of them and his easily they had been fooled to disobey. He couldn't help but think that angels were worse.
