Bree: what did you just say?

Eric: you heard me...I will give up my kidney so my sister can live.

Bree: Eric what is wrong with you?! The hospital should have some more left right?!

Doctor: I'm sorry...there's none left, I'll leave you guys alone to talk...I'm so sorry *leaves to the operating room*

*bree drops on the floor and cries*
"That's means if you give up her kidney you will die! You know that right?!"

Eric: yea ik...

Bree: so stupid! Why lord why?! *sniffling*

Eric: *walks over to her* Bree...please-

Bree: don't speak to me! Leave me alone! I'm going downstairs! *goes to the elevator and leave*!

*a moment of silence for two min*

Durante: imma just go home and pray...that's was a bold thing you did Eric...

Eric: I can't let my sister die man...I love her

Durante: be safe homie *dabs him up and leave*

Eric: imma go leave to ariels room...to speak with her

Ariels pov:

"A new kidney? Why would I need a new kidney? Maybe the doctors are lying to me...maybe the doctors are faking it...or maybe they could be telling the truth."

Those thoughts played over and over in my head. They also told me there's no more fresh kidneys and someone would have to give up their kidneys so I can live...lord please help me make it through

*door knocks*

"The door is open!"

Eric: Ariel?

"Yes?"

Eric: *sighs* can I speak with you?

"Sure"
As he walked over I noticed his face was red and had dried up tears

"Eric you ok?"

Eric: I'm fine just give me your hand

I gave him my hand while he sat next to me on my hospital bed

Eric: listen carefully...the doctors told me about your kidneys

"Yea"

Eric: they also told me there's no more fresh kidneys and that you will need a organ donor.

"Keep going..."

Eric: I'm going to give you my kidneys so you will live.

I looked up at him looking confused...did I just hear my step brother say he was gonna give me his kidneys so I am live? I consider him as my brother but why him? The person I love?

"What the fuck did you just say?!"

Eric: you heard me Ariel... your gonna live! Aren't you happy?

"NO! IM NOT! YOUR GONNA DIE AND IM GOING TO LIVE!"

Eric: that's the point!

" I don't want you to die!" *chokes up and cries severely*
" your the best brother I've ever had! And now your gonna leave me? Why would you do that to me?!"

I seen a tear run down his face

Eric: because I love you *wipes tears* and you need to learn more in life...and as an older sibling I'm gonna give you life

"Can you do me a favor?"

Eric: anything for my sister

"Can you stay the night with me and sleep next to me? Like how you used to do when we were younger?"

Eric: sure... I'll take off work tomorrow for you.

He turned of my lamp and tucked me in my hospital bed and kissed my tears. Then he looked out the window with tears falling from his eyes. I stood there and stared at him for a moment...he looked shocked, he looked sad, and now he's going to die bc of me. If I didn't get In my co-workers car none of this would've happened... my kidneys wouldn't have  been crushed and  eric wouldn't have to give up his kidney... for me.

Eric: take yo ass to bed...we've got a long day tomorrow

I laughed and slowly shut my eyes and went to bed...
