The very next morning was the day in which Rachelle kept on dreading: the day of Paisley's funeral. In order for her to feel safe and make sure that she'll be okay, her friends decided to be there for her on such a devastating day. As Rachelle got herself ready, she opened her desk drawer and pulled out her cousin's lucky scrunchie taht was handed down. She took the scrunchie and slid it on around her wrist, knowing that Paisley would be proud for finding the one who had put her in her spot. A few seconds later, Lyndsay knocked on the open bedroom door for Rachelle's attention.

"Ray, are you ready to go?" she asked in a low mumbling tone of her voice. Rachelle used her eyes to look up into her reflection through the mirror. She then bowed her head down and turned around to face Lyndsay. Rachelle looked up at her best friend, barely half smiled, and then began to tear up with some grief.

"Come here, sweetie," muttered Lyndsay as she spreaded her arms out for a hug. When Rachelle saw her friend wanting to be there for her, she bursted into more tears and ran into Lyndsay's arms for comfort. "I'm very sorry for all of this," empathied Rachelle as she hugged her best friend tight with love and care.

"Oh Ray, it's totally fine. I would be doing the same thing if it was the other way around with me being in your position," said Lyndsay. The two of them hugged for a little bit until Lyndsay took a quick look at the time and realized that they had to go or they'll be late.

"We better get going or we'll be late for the service," she reported as she let go from the hug and began to head down to the vehicle. Rachelle took one last look at the picture of her and Paisley that was sitting on the nightstand beside her bed and then headed her way down the staircase. Once she got down to the end of the stairs, she quickly saw that the whole gang was ready for her. She couldn't believe how caring her friends were when she walked out the front door. "You all came for me," she began to weep with some cheeriness.

"Of course we did. That's what friends are for, aren't they?" responded Lyndsay as she led Rachelle to the passenger seat of the truck. She opened the door, gave Rachelle the chance to climb on in, and shut the door behind her.

"I love you guys...thank you for everything that y'all have done for me through this murder case," informed Rachelle as she hooked her seatbelt when she climbed in.

"We'll always be here for you through anything and everything," said Troy as he headed off to the funeral home for the memorial service. When they arrived to the service, all four of the teens slid out of the car and walked over to the benches to take a seat in the family section. Once everyone was seated, the funeral for Paisley began to take place. As the Eulogist started to explain how great of a person Paisley was, Rachelle was having some trouble getting through the service. Hearing every bit of information about Paisley made Rachelle think about just getting up from her chair and making a run for it.

"I can't go through this. It's too much grief for me to handle," she whimpered as her eyes began to fill up with tears. Lyndsay wanted to show her best friend some love by laying Rachelle's head on her shoulder. She was feeling and showing some sympathy for her friend as she looked up at Troy and saw him doing the same thing. Troy, who was sitting on the other side of Rachelle, lifted up his arm and hugged Rachelle with care.

"Just think, it won't be much longer and we're out of here," mentioned Troy to try to cheer her up a little bit. Rachelle dried up all of her tears and raised her head up and off of Lyndsay's shoulder. Once she dried up the grief showing through her emotions, Lyndsay opened up her handbag and pulled out a tissue so that Rachelle could wipe her eyes. Rachelle took the tissue from Lyndsay's fingers and used one of the corners to smudge away the water in both of her tear ducts. Her nose was sniffling as she was keeping herself calm from another break down. Troy was feeling very sorry for Rachelle, so he raised up his arm and hugged her tight once again. Rachelle wiped away all of the teardrops and sniffles taht were clogged up in her sinuses and committed to revealing half of a smile to show some love towards her buddies. For the next twenty to twenty-five minutes of the funeral service, Rachelle's friends were there comforting her through the entire thing. After the service was completely over with, Troy offered to go get the truck while Lyndsay and Ryan stayed next to Rachelle to comfort her. As soon as Troy left from the group, Lyndsay and Ryan were both sitting on either side of Rachelle, showing some support for her and her family by hugging her tight. A couple of seconds later, they witnessed Rachelle opening up her eyelids from all of the crying.
