The very next morning, Rachelle got her ususal phone call from Lyndsay to wake her up.
"You ready?" asked Lyndsay when Rachelle answered the phone call.
"You know it," responded Rachelle. They hung up from both ends of the telephone. Once Rachelle got off the phone, she chose to go ahead and call Uncle Leo so they can meet up for an interview. After hearing the line ring and ring for a whole five minutes, Uncle Leo finally picked it up.
"Hello?" he greeted.
"Uncle Leo, is that you?" asked Rachelle the very first thing.
"Yes." Rachelle inhaled and exhaled a deep breath and gained a little more confidence.
"HI! Um, I have to ask a favor of you. Will you be able to meet my friends and I at the park?" she hesitantly asked him.
"Sure. When?"
"In about 15 minutes."
"Okay. You got yourself a deal."
"Thank you!"
"Uh-huh. See you in a little bit." Rachelle got off the line once more, grabbed her things, and went to go wait for her friends on the porch. After watching time pass on by, Rachelle heard tires screeching along gravel. She held up her head and saw the pickup truck making its way down the street to her house. Once it pulled up to the sidewalk, Lyndsay rolled down the back window to get Rachelle's attention.
"Hey, you want a ride?" she said laughing as she stuck her head out the window. Racehlle grinned happily as she rosed up from the bench on the porch and made her way down to the car. Lyndsay rolled the window all the way back up and opened the car door for her. As soon as Rachelle climbed up on in, the four of them were on the road like a herd of turtles.
"Alright so...where we going first, captain?" asked Troy getting a sense of humor going on.
"We're going to go question our next suspect," pointed out Rachelle fastening her seatbelt.
"Aunt Bonnie...," he screamed while shooting his right index pointer finger straight up.
"Ha ha very funny but no," laughed out Rachelle sarcastically patting Troy on the back of his right shoulder. While Rachelle was talking to Troy, Lyndsay grabbed a hold of his arm and slowly slapped it back down next to his leg. Ryan, who was all relaxed over in the passenger seat, got right back tensed up.
"Hey...," he yelled with slight anger while holding his hand up in Troy's direction. They all immediately stopped what they were going in order to listen to what he had to say. "Before you even start, let me just go ahead nad stop you right there. There will be absolutely no bickering or arguing about who gets questioned first, you hear me?" his voice got very low. Either of them couldn't believe how upset he was with them. They honestly didn't know how to react towards his behavior. They just stared straight at him with bored expressions on their faces.
"Deal?" he screamed his head out at all of them, crossing his arms up to his chin. They didn't really say a word to him: they were afraid to. All they did was just nod their heads up and down very slowly giving him a "yes" to his comment.
"Good. Now we're all cool," he caught up to his anger and calmed back down. After that strange incident happened, the three of them let in and out a big breath and shook all of it off. Suddenly, Ryan was all back to his relaxed and calm self. Troy just gave up and let all of that go and went back to concentrating on the road.
"So now Rachelle, where we going first, and don't you even think about starting anything Troy," said the calmed down Ryan.
"We're going to meet Uncle Leo at the park to ask him some questions," informed Rachelle as she pulled out her notebook.
