Luke was curled up on Michaels lap as they both watched the sunset for the last time together.
"Don't let me go." Luke whispered, holding onto Michaels arms tighter.
"Wouldn't dream of it." Michael whispered back, keeping his eyes locked on the sunrise.
"I love you." Michael said softly, and Luke smiled, looking up.
"Can we even say that yet? It's only been five days."
"I'm pretty sure I just did say it." Michael said, making Luke laugh. "Im not in love, Luke. Don't worry, but if you can't tell, we haven't waited to do anything, so why wait to tell you how I really feel? We're not promised a tomorrow, so I'm gonna tell you in case I never get the chance to."
"I love you, too." Luke said softly.
Michael kissed his temple, and they both looked back at the sunrise.
Those three words didn't have to mean a lot right now. It was too early for them to really mean something, but Luke felt his heart beat faster.
