When the sun tears open the calm nights sky,
sucking away the stars into it's burning center,
I watch you fade away.
I watch the sun take you away,
I watch the stars bleed into the day
I ache as I remember the day,
I just watched you fade away.
Whispering, the moon is whispering the sun to sleep,
and the hue of blue arise from the deep.
I watch you appear,
Evoking emotions and tears.
Your short life piercing my heart like a spear
I watch the stars take you away,
as life goes on, just another day,
I sink into the far distance,
just like you once did,
and slowly I too,
fade away.
