"Why are we like," I paused for a moment and looked at my phone for a quick second before returning it back inside my purse that took a chair near my side. "Half an hour early?"
"You see, paparazzi is going to be here and they're not coming until the others start arriving. Soo, we decided to be here before them."
"Oh and Chewy? Dear, please at least try to talk to others? They don't even know you're our daughter because you don't socialize with others."
"I don't need to socialize and be friends with people who think they're better than everyone else. And why would paparazzi be here? Its just a business dinner. We're just going to drink wine maybe some alcohol an-"
"Princesses, you're not drinking wine or alcohol. You're too young. I ordered some apple juice for you." My jaw dropped slightly and looked at Dad as if he was crazy.
"Apple juice? Really?"
"Yeah, or do you want orange?" I shook my head and smiled gently while taking the glass of water that sat in front of me.
"Apple juice is fine thanks Daddy." He smiled and nodded while also taking his glass, but instead of water his had clear white wine. Can't really recall the name but that's not important.
After a while of sitting down and conversing with a few adults, the room started getting full and soon after the paparazzi followed behind their trail like dogs begging for a treat. I bowed down and smiled apologetic while making my way out of view from the cameras.
Once being away, my eyes started wandering and slightly widened as our eyes met. Once I saw him coming over, I smiled softly and walked away from him. Not daring to look back, I made my way through the crowd of elegantly dressed people. Once I finally decided to look back I felt something hard come in contact with my body making me stumble back a bit.
"Oh I'm sorry, excuse me." I frowned at the person in front of me as his arms wrapped around my waist.
"You're excused." 'What?' I glared making sure he'd get the message that I don't want him near me and then pulled his arms off of me harshly. Before he was able to do anything else I bumped passed him and walked up the stairs. Once I started hearing footsteps coming behind me, I picked up the dress and started skipping steps. Being on top I looked back for a quick second then proceeded to run over to an opened door. I couldn't help but smile as my shoes hit the floor making it echo throughout the empty halls. Making it inside the room, I lamely pushed the door closed on my way to the balcony. He pulled on my arm making me giggle softly as he turned me around so I'd be facing him, then pinned me to the door.
"I can't get away from you huh?" I giggled as my chest rose up and down, feeling tired for running in heels. Surprised I didn't fall.
"Nope, you can't." I giggled once again and pushed him away before taking his hand and walking outside onto the balcony.
"I almost made it." I pointed out with a small smile on my lips.
"Almost doesn't cut it." I pouted softly and playfully glared.
"I thought you weren't coming today." I whispered softly placing my arms over the rail as he did the same.
"I wasn't, until I heard you were." Laughing calmly I looked up at him.
"If I wasn't coming then what would you do?" Jungkook shrugged his shoulder then flipped around so that his elbows would be on the rail.
"Then I'd take you somewhere else. These parties are no fun." I nodded agreeing with him and then pointed straight ahead.
"The only good thing right now is the view." Just as I turned towards the ocean, a calm cool breeze hit us making me shiver slightly. Which hopefully wasn't noticeable.
"Tzuyu?" I looked at him from the corner of my eye and gave a single nod.
"Hmm?"
"I really like you, no wait, I love you" he stopped and looked up. "There isn't a time when I don't think of you and-" my mind shut off as he continued talking. 'Was he confessing?' His words kept coming into my head as my lips formed into a smile. "Will you be my girlfriend?" My thoughts got cut off as I looked up at him.
"No." I giggled softly as I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought him down, connecting our lips in a soft chaste kiss. After a few seconds I pulled apart leaning my forehead against his own making our noses touch. "I was kidding, of course I'd be your girlfriend." I can't even begin to describe the expression he had on. He just looked so cute! His hand lifted my chin up and with a smile I reconnected our lips. The way his soft plump red lips moved skillfully against my own made me groan softly. The cold breeze came in contact with my bare arm making me gasp softly.
"We should go back. They're going to start wondering why the heir of the Jeon Corp isn't attending." He laughed and pecked my lips before taking my hand and walking out or is it in? Its probably in since we were outside already. On our way back I couldn't prevent the butterflies that rented a place in my stomach. It wasn't just the kiss. This was different. His eyes seemed so sincere when he said those five words. Now I can't stop my heart from beating like a lunatic.
"You might want to protect your eyes." He whispered softly and wrapped his arms around my waist bringing us closer together. Before I was able to ask why I needed to protect my eyes, camera's and camera flashes along with microphones were being shoved up my face. I opened my mouth attempting to answer a few question but none of them were complete since other voices kept over powering them. Completely lost, I looked up at Jungkook hoping he'd help me. Instead he winked and smiled.
"Thanks for helping." I muttered and also smiled to the camera now sure of what to do. After a while they calm down and Jungkook didn't even give me a chance to answer since he did all of the talking.
"So you are?" I looked forward with smile on my face blinking away the flashed that came from the cameras.
"Jeon Tzuyu." I closed my mouth and looked back at the guy in front who was waiting for confirmation.
"Its actually Chou Tzuyu." The man nodded and wrote something down in the notebook he was holding.
"Chou? From Taiwan?" I nodded and felt Jungkook arms wrap around me from behind and laid his head on my shoulder.
"Soon to be Jeon Tzuyu, right baby?" I looked at Jungkook with my eyes widened and tried to prevent the blush from spreading across my cheeks. It didn't help since the crowd soon started chanting 'Kiss~Kiss~Kiss~' while the cameras were rolling.
He smiled before turning me around having his arm still wrapped around my waist and with his free hand he brought my chin up and leaned down to connect our lips together. My eyes instantly shot closed the moment his hand came in contact with my chin. My arms slowly wrapped around his neck while responding to the soft, sweet, innocent kiss the same way he was. Once his tongue ran across my bottom lip I pulled away slowly.
Only until cheers filled the room did I remember that we were being watched possibly filmed to. To embarrassed to look up, I laid my head over his chest trying to cover my face as he left a small kiss on my forehead.
The dance/dinner meeting wasn't so interesting. Many grandpa joked went along and I was able to tell that Jungkook laughed along with them out of courtesy. I didn't even bother to pretend that it was funny.
Soon enough after my third cup of 'apple juice' it started tasting a bit bitter, making my head spin.
"Jungkook," I whispered softly bringing him closer by pulling on the collar of his shirt. "I'm sleepy." I mumbled finishing off with a pout. He nodded with a small smile and arose from his chair.
"I'm sorry, but we have to be leaving now. It was a pleasure to be spending this evening with you." I got up from my chair as well and offered them a smile as I linked arms with Jungkook.
"Its okay Chewy, we'll go visit you guys tomorrow." I nodded slightly confused to why she was saying that. Before leaving I planted a kiss on both my parents forehead and then headed out with Jungkook.
"You expected me to be coming with you today right?" I asked while he pulled up in our driveway.
"Yeah, it was hard though. Your dad wouldn't give you up." We both laughed as he parked his car. "He said one week wasn't enough." I grinned with a nod and got out the door. Once being outside I smiled and took his hand lacing our fingers together.
"How about you?" Jungkook looked over at me and walked us towards the door.
"What about me?"
"How were you seven days without me?" He smiled and placed the our hands over where his heart should be.
"Very boring, it was also very quiet." I laughed and nodded while taking his keys and opened the door.
"I knew you missed me."
"Always." He smiled with a wink and entered the dark house closing the door behind him.
