ri seul

ri seul giggled to herself as she headed to her physics class. 

she had stayed up last night to research and memorize every kind of pick-up line possible. to say she was crazy was an understatement. 

she couldn't wait to sit down and write another note for him. 

ri seul grinned and entered the room, shuffling to her seat.

she  stopped and stared at the object on her desk.

a light pink paper folded into a small envelope sat there. 

ri seul frowned. she had never, ever gotten a note, much less a letter in her entire life.

with the help of her peripheral vision, she could see jungkook entering the room. 

his gait screamed smug and warning signs were flashing in ri seul's head.

he must have won a bet with his friends. what were they called again? the bangbang boys?

was it her mind playing tricks or was he smirking? at her? good lord.

just as she was about to open the letter, miss kwon came rushing in.

guess this will have to wait.

five minutes before the period ended, miss kwon had to rush out because of some important meeting all the teachers were required to attend to. 

ri seul shifted and took the note from her pocket. she opened it gently, careful not to crumple the small thing. she wanted to preserve it. it was her first letter/note afterall. 

"kiyaaaah if it's a confession from jungkook then i can die peacefully now."

she did not expect this.

definitely a pick-up line. and a dirty one at that.

ri seul turned beet red. she was too flustered to notice that the bell had rung and that jeon jungkook was right in front of her. 

"you gave me one yesterday so i thought it'd be nice if i returned the favor."

ri seul looked up to see jungkook smirking down at her. if it was even possible, she felt herself turn redder. 

the first time he looks at me and i look like a ripe tomato ready to be harvested. god.

"you know, you're actually quite cute. see you tomorrow seul-ah~" jungkook chuckled and winked at her.

ri seul sat there frozen until someone shook her hard.

"park ri seul! what happened to you? did you see a ghost? remember that if you see one you're just staring at a mirror. yah!" shin minhee, ri seul's one and only best friend everyone.

"yah! what do you mean mirror? are you saying that i look like a ghost?" ri seul sulked.

"nevermind. anyway, what did you see that had you frozen in shock and red as a tomato? was it a guys ya-know??"

ri seul's jaw dropped and she stared wide eyed at minhee, "what the actual heck shin minhee?! why would i see a guy's di-- nevermind, i don't want to know. let's go grab some lunch." 

sometimes, ri seul questioned why they were bestfriends. but the more she thought about it, she realized  that she'd rather be stuck with her than some preppy, stuck up biatch. 

ah, life is good.

if only she had a boyfriend.
