JungKook X Reader (BTS)

3rd person POV

You were a Kpop Idol at BigHit and your manager just told you that you will sing a duet with another Kpop Idol.

"It's because of promotion. His band is will release a new album and your band too. He is very famous and maybe, if you sing the duet with him, your band will be more famous. I think this is a good deal. Also, the song is already written and it is just perfect for the both of you." She said trying to convince you. She looked at you waiting for your answer.

"Of course I'll do it." You said and smiled. You loved singing so why not with sing somebody else besides the girl group you were in.

"Great, I tell their manager and then tell you when we're going to start." She said and smiled running off.

JungKook POV

I was at dance practice waiting for my manager telling me about the news on the duet. We were midst in the 'Spring Day'choreography when he came.

"JungKook, we start tomorrow. Since you know the choreography already, you don't have to practice with the others until you finish the duet. So, (Y/N) and you have to be at the recording studio at 8 am. Also, you all can stop practicing now. It is already very late so go back to your dorm and sleep. See you tomorrow." Manager PD said and went out of the room before I could have said anything. We just looked clueless at each other because manager PD seemed like he was in a hurry.

"I guess we can go then," Namjoon said, "We meet at the entrance like always." then he went towards the door, propably to the changing room. Then, we all followed him.

I was the first one to be finished and walked to the entrance of BigHit building. It was already dark outside and the stars and the moon were visible. I thought one of the guys walked out but it was a girl so I looked away. I also thought she would just walk by but it seemed like she was also waiting because she stood at the right of the big entrance door, I stood on the left. I looked at my phone but glanced at her for a second. She stood there shifting her weight from right to left. She was shivering because she just wore a dress with boots and a jeans jacket. Also, a big scarf that was wrapped around her neck but that wasn't warm enough because it had snowed the night before. She then looked at me so I quickly turned my glance away from her. Okay, maybe I glanced at her longer than just a second at maybe it was more a staring. I looked back at my phone but knew that she was looking at me.

"Aren't you JungKook of BTS?" She asked and I turned to look at her. Just at that moment I realized how pretty she was. I didn't spoke up because I was too shy. One time, a fan asked me what I would do when I saw a pretty girl. Well, I said I would just pass her by but right now I didn't do anything. I was like frozen in place.

"Oh sorry, I'm (Y/N)." Sh said and her wide eyes turned into a soft and warm smile. But wait isn't that the girl I'm going to do the duet with tomorrow? I guess so. She held her hand out for me to shake it. Then, I found my words.

"Hello, I'm JungKook," I began and shoke her hand. Her hands were really cold, so I was right, she was freezing. "if you're (Y/N), then you're the girl I'm doing the duet with?"

"I guess so." Her soft voice was like a magic spell. 'She must have a really nice voice.' I thought to myself. There was silence then until she spoke up again.

"Who are you waiting for?" Again her soft voice brought me back to her.

"I'm waiting for my group members to get changed and everything." I said and showed her a smile which she returned. "What about you?" I asked her because I wanted to hear her voice more and I didn't want to seem like a total selfish and rude guy.

"Oh, I'm just waiting for my taxi to pick me up and drive me back to my dorm." She looked up from the ground to me. Just then, Jimin, Hoseok, Seokjin, Taehyung, Yoongi and Namjoon came out of the building.

"We're here." Taehyung said and looked at me, then he followed my eyes and saw (Y/N). "Who's that?" he asked with wide eyes and a bit confused. The other members looked torwads her but before she could speak up, I spoke for her.

"That's (Y/N). I'm doing the duet with her, remember?" I said and looked ecspecially at Taehyung and he nodded. They all introduced themselves to (Y/N) before going to the black van which was ours. I wanted to look good infront of her so an idea came to my head and I just spoke it out before thinking.

"Hey, we could take you with us. We could drive you back to your dorm." I said and smiled. I was never in my whole life, so confindent like right now. I mean, I managed to speak to a pretty girl and even look at her.

"Thank you but you don't have to. I really appreaciate the offer but the taxi should be here soon, so I can ride home with it." (Y/N) said and smiled beautifully. I nodded and got into the car. She stood there shivering again, so again I had an idea to show myself from my best side. I asked the driver to stop for a moment and good out of the car.

I heard the other members asking what was wrong or why I didi this but this was my time to show her that I was a good guy.

She looked at the ground but as soon as she heard my foot steps she looked at me questioning why I was running torwards her.

"You know, the traffic isn't the best here, so here take my jacket. I can ride home now but I think you have to wait a bit." I said and held my jacket torwards her giving her a smile. (Y/N) also smiled taking the jacket.

"Thank you very much. I'll give it back to you tomorrow." She said taking it on while still smiling.

"No problem, I see you tomorrow then." She nodded while I walked back to the black van. The driver started the car again and drove off but (Y/N) still waved after us until we couldn't see her anymore.

I'll definitely look forward to singing the duet with her.
