"So what do you do for a living, stranger?" Baekhyun asks while munching on his chocolate bar. Chanyeol also takes a bite out of his chocolate bar.

"I work as a director for documentaries. I'm also a photographer."

"Wah! That's so cool, Mr. Stranger! As for me, I'm a college student. I take journalism." Baekhyun says with a wide smile.

Chanyeol chuckles, "Why take that though?"

"I want to work as an author. Making people connected and happy through my stories is a big must for me, Mr. Stranger." Baekhyun says, sniffing his long sleeves. Don't ask, it's a habit of his.

Chanyeol hums, "That's interesting." Chanyeol says with a gentle voice.

Baekhyun looks around his surroundings, rolling his eyes at the red roses and balloons. "I find valentines boring. I mean, what's the reason for valentines anyways." Baekhyun says, finishing his chocolate bar.

"Don't you celebrate valentine's day?" Chanyeol asks, he stops walking to take a look at Baekhyun. Baekhyun just deeply sighs.

"I find valentines useless. Do you even need a certain day to celebrate love? I mean, can't all couples celebrate everyday? And this is coming from a person who doesn't believe in love." Baekhyun chuckles bitterly at the end of his statement.

Chanyeol raises a brow, "I find valentines sweet, it's a special day to spend with your special someone."

"Yeah, so everyday with your lover is not special except for valentines?" Baekhyun just sarcastically chuckles, "This is another reason why I find love useless." 

Chanyeol's lips form a thin line. "Why don't you believe in love?" Chanyeol asks, pointing towards a bench so that the both of them can sit down and rest from their walk.

"Love for me is just a sugarcoated word for pain and regret. When people leave their loved ones, look. They become sad and all. So why fall in love when there are different types of food in the world that are way better than love?"

Chanyeol laughs a bit, "That's cute." Chanyeol then stares at Baekhyun, capturing every single detail of this mysterious Byun Baekhyun.

"What about you, stranger? Do you believe in love?" Baekhyun asks, turning to look at Chanyeol. A little bit surprised to see the latter staring at him.

Baekhyun clears his throat, waving a hand in front of Chanyeol. "Stranger?"

Chanyeol then snaps out of it. He scratches the back of his head, "Sorry about that." Chanyeol apologizes receiving a hum from Baekhyun.

"I believe in love, even if my heart is still broken. Love can come from so many different things. It's interesting and exciting at the same time. You feel all these types of butterflies in your stomach, you feel sparks and sometimes you do things you wouldn't normally do just to make her happy. I've experienced love before and let me tell you it was a beautiful thing." Chanyeol then looks down.

"Until I found her cheating on me." Chanyeol bitterly laughs.

"We can stop this if you want, if you're uncomfortable with it." Baekhyun gently says, holding Chanyeol's hand all of a sudden. He doesn't even know why he's doing this.

Chanyeol shakes his head, "It's fine. I found her cheating on me with another guy. It broke my heart and up 'till now it's still broken. But I still believe in love." Chanyeol says, looking at Baekhyun's beautiful hand on top of his.

Baekhyun nods, "Well, that was a nice chat with you Mr. Stranger. I have to go back now because you know, school stuff." Baekhyun says, standing up. Chanyeol stands up as well, offering a hand.

"Let's meet again, Byun Baekhyun."

Baekhyun looks up at Chanyeol and nods, shaking Chanyeol's hand.

"Sure, Mr. Stranger."
