Merlin's Beards's tongue in my ear wakes me up in the worst way possible. Kids, don't try it at home.

But I do like the fact that Beards is here. As I moved from the castle to the Burrow, and then to Malfoy Manor, you lose track of things, and I had almost forgotten about her. But here she is, blue as always, and a little bigger I think. I'm afraid she doesn't fit in my pockets anymore.

I put the lizard next to me while I adjust my pillows so I can sit comfortably. The window is open, and I see the sun, but it has almost disappeared. I don’t know how much I have slept since my aunt Cissy told me to rest before dinner.

After getting dressed with the clothes she left me (l can’t use here the same clothes l use in the Burrow), a grey dress with a checkered skirt, I try to hide Beards inside the skirt, in an inside pocket. I hope she stays quiet and still, because it wouldn’t be nice if it started to move when I'm still.

When l leave the room, l stay a few moments looking left and right to make sure what side should l go so I can make it to the dining room.  As expected, I got lost. I had to go down instead of up. Now I'm in a really elegant corridor with huge columns at regular intervals. when I pay more attention, I realize there are doors between the columns, one of them is double and has green and silver ornaments, typical of Slytherins. Suddenly, the doors open and my cousin appears, dressed in black. He looks taller.

-Hey, Leyla. Nice color.

I look at my dress.

-Thank you -I say, surprised by his good manners.

-It combines with your tongue full of ashes.

-And do you know with what your suit matches with?

-No, tell me.

-With your soul. Like a black hole.

He raises an eyebrow.

-Oh, now you have deep thoughts. Congratulations, cousin.

No, actually, I didn't have anything bad to tell you and that's the only thing that I could come with -I admit with a tiny laugh-. That's your room?

-Yes.

Sudden changes of topics and humor are something normal when I'm talking to Draco.

-And? -I insist -. Won't you give me a tour?

-No.

-I bet your walls are pink.

-They aren't.

-And do you know with what do they match? With your underpants.

-You can't know the color of them.

-So are they really pink?

He hesitates before speaking.

-Okey, come in, but don't touch anything.

When he opens the door, I see a wide bed with a green blanket, according to the decorations on the door. The room is huge, and everything looks as if it was made for people really tall (and Draco only takes me a few centimeters in the race towards the ceiling). There are dark velvet divans, and on the other side, I can see a collection of things, that goes from an old wand to a big clock with stones that looks really alike to emeralds, and… a hand? Some things remind me of what I once saw in a shop, probably from a time I went with uncle Lucius and Draco to London.

-Try not to break anything -he says when he sees me near the showcase separating his collection. I didn't realized when I got so close to it. I take a few steps back, and feel the soft rug under my feet.
