But it Didn't

The next morning I decided to get up early,  I threw on some clothes,  my shirt was wrinkly. This has never bothered me. But for some reason it did today. I changed my shirt,  and threw on some black jeans.
They were Levi's,  they were skinny,  but not gay tight. They had a thick silver chain that dropped from the belt,  and picked back up,  leading to my pocket,  connected to my wallet.
I picked out a black t-shirt and a new black jacket. I pulled on my dirty white Converse. I realized they didn't go with my outfit,  so I threw them off and grabbed a ripped pair of black shoes,  knowing I'd be late.
I grabbed my gold-linned sunglasses (picture above),  and walked downstairs to leave.
I walked into work,  expecting to be greeted by a tired looking college student. Instead I saw Red,  he was cleaning the bar,  I blushed. I didn't even know why.
He had a black and red jacket on with fur lining the hood. Other than that his outfit was the same as yesterday.
He was using my towel. This would bother me usually,  but it didn't. I walked up to the bar.
"Your late." he said gruffly. "yes. I know! " I replied with attitude ,  I added a quick eye roll too,  as I took my glasses off.
I walked behind the bar,  grabbing my towel from his hand. I began to wipe the bar off.
He scoffed and walked to the back.
As the day went on,  I began to worry.
Did I say something wrong,  he hasn't come out of there in a while...
I poured the small rabbit in the booth closest to the door some whiskey,  and walked to the door leading to the back looking area.
Red was working on schoolwork. I decided not to bother him,  seeming I pissed him off earlier.
I cleaned the bar and served people alcohol. It was 11 again,  he still hadn't come out. I walked into back pushing the door open quietly.
He sat on the metal table with a puzzled expression. I walked up,  and took the pencil from his hand,  taking a paper from his notebook.
For hour we sat,  working out algebra and geometry,  telling stories and making bad puns. I will admit he is the closest thing to a best friend that I've found lately.
We were laughing our asses off when Red took a look at his watch, it was seven twelve in the morning,  and he had to get to classes.
We said goodbye,  we were standing outside of the bar when I stood up on my toes and hugged the taller version of me.
"have fun at school football boy." I teased,  I walked away with a smile on my face knowing I wasn't going to sleep tonight.
